“We were booked to stay for 1 week after The Sanctuary, as we normally stay in Grand Meliá Milan so assumed it would be as good. We decided to pop in and see what the pool was like for the kids. Unfortunately after one drink were not made to feel very welcome. Maybe because we were not eating food. It was not busy. But the vibe was not nice. Not like any other Meliá we have stayed globally. My partner felt very uncomfortable, as the staff kept staring at him. We decided to stay in the Waldorf instead and cancelled this hotel. MUCH better pool.
