Cada instante parecía formar parte de algo único, y tuvimos la inmensa suerte de poder contemplar animales majestuosos hasta el último momento de nuestra estancia, como si África se resistiera a despedirse de nosotros.
Y, entre tanta belleza, también hubo espacio para emocionarnos a través de la gastronomía. Una comida deliciosa, llena de matices y sabores que, por momentos, me hizo viajar a mis recuerdos más íntimos, evocando la cocina de mis abuelas y de mi madre. Qué bonito es descubrir una tierra tan lejana y, al mismo tiempo, encontrar sabores capaces de conectarte con tus raíces, tus recuerdos y tu hogar.
Durante nuestra luna de miel, Meliá Serengeti nos permitió vivir África con todos los sentidos: contemplarla, sentirla, saborearla y dejarnos sorprender por ella hasta el último segundo.
Nos fuimos con el corazón lleno, con imágenes difíciles de olvidar y con la sensación de haber vivido uno de esos sueños que, cuando finalmente se hacen realidad, superan cualquier expectativa.
Porque hay lugares que te permiten ver el mundo y otros que, además, consiguen hacerte sentirlo de una manera que nunca olvidarás. Meliá Serengeti fue, sin duda, uno de ellos. ✨”

“An unforgettable stay in the Serengeti
We loved our time at Meliá Serengeti Lodge in November. From the moment we arrived, we felt properly looked after. The service was warm and thoughtful!
Special thanks to Martin, the General Manager, who really went out of his way for us. He was great to talk to and gave us some excellent recommendations, especially the guided walk in the forest the hotel arranged. It ended up being one of the highlights of the trip, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The setting is gorgeous. Some of our favourite moments were simply sitting on the balcony, looking out over the forest and open landscape, with those flat-topped acacia trees you know from numerous African movies. There’s something special about having that savannah view from your own room.
What really made it for us, though, was watching our boys feel at home and have a great time. Weeks later, the Serengeti still turns up in their stories and games. For us, that says it all about the memories this place helped create.
Thank you, Martin and the whole team, for making us feel so welcome. We’d love to come back, for sure!”

El walking safari fue simplemente mágico, una experiencia única que te permite conectar con la naturaleza de una manera increíble. Es alucinante estar en medio de la sabana y poder escuchar los trompeteos de los elefantes mientras desayunas.
Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, cuidadas y destacan por su limpieza. La calidad de la comida es excelente y, como no podía ser de otra manera, el servicio fue fantástico durante toda nuestra estancia.
