It’s impossible not to fall in love with the quaint cobbled streets full of small cafés in this small town alongside the Pacific on the west coast of Mexico. Nobody will be surprised that the old town is popularly known as the Romantic Zone.

Art with which to fall in love

The famous arches in Puerto Vallarta are its most iconic image, but in actual fact this port city has many more places that could feature on postcards. Wandering along the lovely Malecón or sailing to Los Arcos Marine Park to see the granite islands are both fantastic experiences in Puerto Vallarta. As is admiring the beautiful architecture around the Plaza de Armas, the most central and vibrant plaza in the entire city. Just 10 minutes from the centre, the modern and sophisticated district of La Marina has an atmosphere which is completely different. Playa de los Muertos is the most popular beach in Puerto Vallarta and a place to try numerous water sports and activities and taste the finest local cuisine.
