The city opens onto a magnificent bay that ends at La Punta. Its beaches are perfect for surfing. The popular district of Miraflores is home to the Parque del Amor, with mosaics reminiscent of Parc Güell in Barcelona. The Barranco district is an old fishing village and is the most bohemian part of the city. Huaca Pullcana is an archaeological area which was once home to a pre-Inca civilization. When it comes to dining, don’t always order ceviche. Peruvian cuisine is one of the best in the world!
