Reviews of Meliá Casa Maya - Cancún - All Inclusive

My stay was pleasant, but I don’t think this is a 4 stars hotel. I had to wait +- 30 mins during the check in process. The girl at the reception was alone, but the queue was long. She didn’t call for help though, so lots of the guests have to wait for long just for check-in. The room was small, the chair looks old but it was clean. The bath towel etc looks old and needs to be thrown out. The location is good. There is bus station directly in front of the hotel. There was an insect (looks like baby cockroach? But I’m not sure) in the room. The walls are super thin! We can hear everything from the room beside us. The minibar was free though. Overall, it was good for a weekend trip, but I would not stay at this hotel again.

We traveled to Bali for our honeymoon and Sol's service for our special occasion was next level. Not only were the staff incredibly friendly, helpful, and prompt, we received a congratulatory cake within minutes of checking in to our room. How sweet! The hotel itself is well kept, a great location for walking/transport, and has a beautiful ocean front space. We would definitely recommend Sol - they were exceptional!

The daily chocolates on the bed, the cleaners left, weren't left on 3 occasions. You don't need towels or toiletries as well supplied. Well stocked mini bar Full sized and smells lovely too. I bought some to take home. I loved the steamer to decrease our clothes. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Pool is great! There's access to thebeach however you have to pay for sunbeds 12€ each. I didn't like the sea as it was quite rocky and full of seaweed. Great view from our balcony. Had a good time. The entertainment is okay, just singers. I think it would be better with a variety of entertainment.

Personnel très agréable, petit déjeuner copieux et varié et accès métro juste devant l’hôtel . Néanmoins la chambre mal agencée et exiguë, le luminaire etait bas et juste au-dessus du lit . Une tentative de facturation de friandises alors qu à mon arrivée il n’y en avait pas Coffre fort en panne, 2 jours pour intervenir. Quelques anomalies : poussière, peinture qui s´écaille… Bref pas du tout un hôtel 4*
