Medieval villages and spa towns

Gothic, Renaissance, Medieval and Baroque architecture come together extremely beautifully throughout the country. If you’re not sure what to see in the Czech Republic, we recommend you start with Prague and its Old Town, crossing the Charles Bridge and getting lost in the bohemian district of Mala Strana or in the Jewish cemetery. The medieval city of Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to its beautiful cobbled streets and colourful Renaissance buildings. You should also not miss Telc in the region of Bohemia, or the castles at Karlstejn, Loket or Bouzov. If you’re aiming to get a little more relaxation, you’ll love the treatments and thermal springs in the spa towns of Karlovy Vary or Trebon. And if you prefer adventure, welcome to the karst caves of Moravia!
