Chorvatsko

Sailing on a boat along its coastline is one of the best ways to discover the beauty of this European country bathed by the Adriatic Sea. Only fifty of its more than 1,000 islands are inhabited. A natural paradise full of forests and beaches.

Monumental calm on the Adriatic

Dubrovnik is not the capital city, but it’s certainly the most visited city in Croatia. The red roofs of its houses are one of its most photogenic images. Its walls protect Gothic and Renaissance buildings, towers, bastions, monasteries, palaces, churches and pedestrianised streets where you can wander around freely. Zagreb, the capital, and the old town in Split, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are other places that you must not miss in Croatia. The Plitvice Lakes National Park is the most popular natural attraction in the country. A park full of forests with 16 lakes connected by waterfalls along a limestone canyon. Among the thousand Croatian islands, the beautiful island of Hvar has always been a refuge for poets and painters, Cres is famous for its great cuisine, and Mljet is the perfect island if you’re looking for a serene natural environment.
