The rooms are very nice. They're spacious and clean with a reasonable appointment and are kept lovely and cool (which is great for sleeping as well as giving a welcome respite from the heat and humidity). The pool area is similar with an abundance of beds. However, some of the cushions are passed their best. I had been prepared for a limited choice on the food, being aware that the vast majority of food stuffs are shipped in such that there's a great reliance on the supply chain. So in reality, supply can be rather patchy, twice in a week there were no eggs available at all which was a bit inconvenient (a first world problem though) as what is there is well prepared and tasty. If adrenaline fuelled activity is your thing, give this place a miss - if quiet relaxation is then this is a great place - it forces you to unwind. Trips to a turtle harchery and a lemon shark nursery were joyful, educational experiences The Cape Verde islands are growing their tourism trade (with its mixed blessings), and there's plenty of evidence of their genuine desire to be a more mainstream destination with staff that are welcoming and receptive to comment. Amongst the very many helpful staff two were particularly noteworthy, Erica on the front desk whose smile and demeanour gives such a warm and welcoming arrival and Eloise the guest services manager who is quite simply outstanding. Thank you, it took me a day or two to really appreciate what you offer here and I truely do now.

El hotel es ideal para quienes buscan tranquilidad y desconectar. El ambiente es muy relajado y se puede disfrutar de momentos de paz. Las instalaciones son cómodas y el personal es amable. Sin embargo, la comida podría mejorar, ya que el menú es algo repetitivo. En los días que estuvimos, no funcionó el jacuzzi del spa, no sé si lo habrán logrado arreglar.

Fijn verblijf en lieve mensen. Modern resort. Over het eten ben ik minder enthousiast. Bijna geen vlees en weinig variatie.
