“Acabados de chegar de cabo verde e hospedados neste hotel , adoramos a nossa estadia , o conceito dos restaurantes temáticos é incrível , desfrutamos de um restaurante diferente todos os dias da nossa estadia e estava incrível a comida. Atendimento 5 estrelas , não encontramos um funcionário antipático. O restaurante principal é bom tem muita variedade no entanto nas carnes grelhadas podiam variar mais e colocar frango e carne de vaca. Destaco também a qualidade da fruta. Sempre no ponto .😉”

“Nous avons séjourné en couple la première semaine de février dans cet hôtel et nous sommes globalement satisfaits. Nous avons trouvé que la restauration était variée avec du choix et les fruits et légumes ne nous ont pas rendu malades ! Dès notre arrivée nous avons réservé les restaurants à thèmes (Aqua, Rancho et Atlantic je crois) et c'était très bon. Le personnel n'est pas toujours souriants mais les touristes ne sont pas toujours sympas non plus. La chambre était spacieuse et le ménage fait tous les 2 jours ne nous a pas gêné. Bien-sur, on ne retrouve pas le confort de notre maison mais nous sommes en vacances et il y'a des choses plus graves qu'un coup de balai qui n'est pas donné tous les jours. Nous avons profité des piscines malgré la fraicheur de l'eau. Nous avons fait un massage mais à Santa Maria (35 mn à pied ou en taxi pour 5 €) moins cher qu'à l’hôtel (38 € les 50 mn. Voilà mon petit avis qui, j'espère vous aidera à faire votre choix.”

“Absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel! Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel und sind rundum begeistert. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet – jeden Tag eine große, abwechslungsreiche Auswahl. Frisches Obst und Gemüse waren jederzeit verfügbar und von sehr guter Qualität. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gründlich gereinigt, alles war stets sauber und gepflegt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Service im Restaurant und an der Bar – das Personal war durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Der gesamte Außenbereich war in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Der Garten wurde täglich gepflegt, rund um die Pools und Bars wurde mehrmals täglich gereinigt, sodass man sich jederzeit wohl und sicher fühlen konnte. Der Standard entspricht absolut europäischem Niveau. Für Kinder wird hier unglaublich viel geboten: Spielplätze, Mini-Disco, mehrere Pools und zahlreiche Freizeitmöglichkeiten – ein echtes Paradies für Familien. Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit großartigem Service, hoher Qualität und viel Liebe zum Detail. Wir können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder!”

“Posto bellissimo siamo stati davvero bene. Il Melià dunas inoltre è l'unico posto dove di inverno riesci a fare il bagno in mare grazie alla sua spiaggia riparata dalla scogliera. Mangiare molto buono, camera perfetta (ma avevamo il supplemento The Level che consigliamo vivamente). Alla prossima!”

“Had an absolute amazing week here. Food great. Facilities are spot on. The pools were busy in terms of sunbed space but the pool itself wasn’t always that full. Main pool quite loud with music and activities but I liked this. Beach bar is really good with free sunbeds dyed at the beach itself. The à la cartes were booked up however we had been told to book well in advance before we went so managed to get the link to book online 2 weeks out from the Facebook group. Location lovely, nice evening walks down on the beach.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Stay at Melia Dunas! We are currently staying at Melia Dunas (room 1007) and felt the need to write this review already, because our experience has been nothing short of excellent. Before arriving, we were honestly a bit nervous after reading some negative reviews on Google and TripAdvisor — but we can now confidently say that those concerns were completely unfounded. The reality is the exact opposite. Check-in was smooth and well organized, the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The food has been delicious, varied, and fresh every single day, far exceeding our expectations. No long queues, no issues with availability — just great quality and choice. Our room (1007) is spotlessly clean and very well maintained, housekeeping is reliable and thorough, and everything works perfectly. The resort itself is beautiful, spacious, and very well kept. The beach is stunning, pools are fantastic, and despite the lively atmosphere, it is never too loud or disturbing — there are plenty of quiet areas for pure relaxation. After worrying for a month because of negative reviews, we can now say with certainty that this has been an amazing holiday. Everything is perfect, and we would highly recommend Melia Dunas to anyone without hesitation.”

“The team are amazing & cannot do enough for you, we had a problem with our apartment as it was a bit far away from the beach .it wasn't a problem they moved us closer & upgraded us due to my husband recovering from a accident. I'd recommend ypu book the restaurants before you leave for your holiday as they soon get booked up. I did speak to geust relations about this & she sorted out another 2 bookings for us very helpful. We took our grown-up son with us & we had the best time.”

“Nós éramos um grupo de 22 pessoas e não consigo encontrar algo de tão negativo que valha a pena escrever. O hotel era fabuloso, jardins cuidados, piscinas fantásticas, o pessoal era simplesmente adorável. A comida era variada e boa. Muitas saladas, peixe ( e que peixe) carne, doces, havia de tudo e muito bom. O Spa foi pura e simplesmente uma boa experiência. Tivemos um problema de ar condicionado num dos quartos e foi prontamente solucionado. A minha única observação vai para a animação após o espetáculo da noite. Deveria haver uma animação mais local, com o funaná, a morna.... disso eu senti falta. Os bares, os cocktails, as caipirinhas, os mojitos, o love on de beach, o strawberrydaiquiri, a praia, fizeram das nossas férias, momentos inesquecíveis. Muito obrigada”

“We were first time in Cape Verde. Amazing place and amazing hotel. Fast service, good food. Big room, our was with big bed, living room, and big bathroom. Clean and cleaned every day. Many bars open till late night. Many restaurants to choose from for evening dinner. Huge object, need 15 minutes for us to walk to the beach but we love it. Amazing beach with best place for snorkelling (we seen few turtles and lots of fishes). Best beach bar with great parties. We don’t have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Was really good holiday. Highly recommend!!”

“Hundreds of families in one resort served by a single reception which of your lucky will have 2 people. So you will be queueing for a lot of your holiday. It is a nice hotel though. We enjoyed it. Although our room flooded and no one seem to care. Eventually a guy came and cleared the shower but just left the mountain of wet towels on the floor. Now we have to go queueing again at reception to ask for dry towels.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Siamo stati al Meliã Dunas e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo! Il cibo è eccellente: il buffet è immenso, con tantissime scelte e anche show cooking ogni giorno. Anche i ristoranti à la carte sono di ottimo livello — in particolare il ristorante di pesce “Atlantis”, semplicemente meraviglioso! La spiaggia è splendida e le piscine curate e pulite, perfette per rilassarsi. L’intrattenimento è stato incredibile, sempre allegro e coinvolgente senza mai essere invadente. Un ringraziamento speciale al personale, sempre gentile, disponibile e pieno di energia: la loro vitalità ha reso la vacanza ancora più bella. Le stanze sono ampie e confortevoli, con una vista stupenda. Anche la gita sull’isola è stata organizzata in modo impeccabile: i ragazzi che ci hanno accompagnato sono stati bravissimi e molto pazienti nel mostrarci ogni angolo. Se proprio dobbiamo trovare qualche piccola nota da migliorare, la connessione Wi-Fi non era sempre stabile e a volte il segnale risultava un po’ debole; inoltre, le bevande ai dispenser (soprattutto i succhi di frutta) erano in polvere e l’acqua proveniva da una macchina automatica. Piccoli dettagli, comunque, rispetto all’eccellente qualità generale. In sintesi: un soggiorno indimenticabile, curato in ogni dettaglio. Torneremmo senza esitazione! 🌴💫”
