Exceptional Dining & Breakfast Buffet
The culinary offerings were exceptional across the board. The daily breakfast buffet is easily one of the best we have ever experienced anywhere in the world. We loved having access to the private Red Level dining space while still being able to pop over to the main buffet for hot items. Having food and snacks accessible three times a day in the lounge was an absolute lifesaver for traveling with kids who needed frequent breaks and refreshments to escape the afternoon heat.
Rooftop Pool Oasis
The rooftop pool provided a delightful, fun retreat. While the pool area is relatively compact and lounger beds are limited, the space turns over frequently enough that finding a shady spot was never an issue. On the rare occasion it was full, the attentive lifeguard immediately stepped in to help us secure seating.
Luxurious Accommodations & Design
The hotel itself is breathtaking—every design touch, architectural detail, and light fixture is thoughtfully curated. Our rooms were extremely comfortable, featuring wonderfully plush beds and a customizable pillow menu that ensured everyone slept soundly. As a thoughtful touch for families, the hotel offers in-room gaming systems; opting for a Nintendo Switch in the room was a massive hit for the kids during downtime.
Palacio de los Duques delivers rare, world-class hospitality where every single staff member is eager to exceed expectations. We left deeply grateful for their care and cannot wait to return!”

“There should be a system that allows you to rate certain rare hotels that go beyond 5 stars because that is where the Palacio de los Duques belongs.
Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations.
We stayed two nights in a Red Level Jr Suite with Terrace. The room and terrace were phenomenal.
When checking in early with Lucia at reception she asked us if we would wait an extra few minutes so she could give us what she said was her favorite room. It was worth the wait. We stayed in a corner room on the top floor with a fantastic view from our corner terrace.
The room was stunning. Every detail was thought of. They provided us with toothbrushes/paste/ shaving kit, a fully stocked mini bar and fridge (which they had previously asked us what we would like in it), a converter for the electric outlet, a corkscrew and bottle opener…every little detail was thought of.
After arriving in the room one of the staff brought us a tray of fruit and bottle of champagne.
The bathroom was gorgeous. Huge shower and tub and a double sink.
The sink had a lounge and other chairs and a table.
The bed was big and comfortable and they provided us with the feather pillows we requested.
The food and drinks offered in the restaurant were simply amazing. Gourmet. I had Ham Croquettes which were one of the best things I had to eat on my entire trip.
We spent part of our first night at the rooftop bar to watch the sunset over cocktails while taking in views of the Royal Palace and the rest of the city. My girlfriend asked the bartender for a drink that didn’t have on the menu and he jumped through hoops to get it for her. The rooftop bar area was amazing.
And so was the rooftop pool.
We were amazed at how clean the entire hotel was. There wasn’t a fingerprint or smudge on any of the glass. Incredible!
None of this would have been possible without the truly outstanding staff who work throughout the hotel. Each person was attentive, friendly and extremely patient as we attempted to communicate in our mediocre Spanish which we didn’t need because they all spoke English.
This hotel is truly outstanding and I would not hesitate to stay here again!
You cannot go wrong choosing it!”

“Palacio de los Duques lived up to our expectations in every way. The hotel reached out several days before our arrival to ask whether there was anything we needed, and when we arrived early, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. I was especially appreciative of Konstantin at the front desk, who was extremely helpful throughout our stay.
We were always greeted warmly, breakfast felt like an elevated experience each morning, and whenever we needed assistance, the staff responded cheerfully and professionally. The service made a real difference in our stay. I highly recommend the hotel.”
