“We really loved our stay in ME Barcelona. We appreciated a great selection of food for 24 hour in room dining. The patatas bravas with slight spicy sauce is a must try. The rooms were surprisingly spacious. We did not receive an upgrade despite FHR (but that is common in Spain in general, they hardly upgrade, in our experience). We didn’t miss the upgrade though. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is much nicer in person than what it might seem in pictures/videos. Also, it smells very nice inside. The location is central and walkable to most areas. Very wide breakfast selection. And beautiful view of Sagrada Familia from rooftop at night. Comparatively better value than some of the other hotels in the neighborhood ( especially avoid the overpriced one with vault like toilet doors couple of blocks away.
