“Nuestra experiencia en el Gran Meliá Colón ha sido realmente muy buena. Es cierto que el hotel no está situado justo en el centro monumental de Sevilla, pero en unos diez minutos caminando estás prácticamente en la Catedral, por lo que la ubicación nos ha resultado muy cómoda para visitar la ciudad. El hotel es fantástico. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas, cómodas y están cuidadas al detalle. Los baños destacan especialmente por su diseño, con una decoración muy elegante y cuidada. El personal ha sido muy atento y profesional durante toda la estancia, siempre dispuesto a ayudar y con un trato excelente. El desayuno también nos ha gustado mucho, con bastante variedad y opciones para todos los gustos. En general, se nota que es un hotel en el que se cuidan mucho los detalles y la experiencia del huésped. Además, dispone de aparcamiento privado en las proximidades, algo que resulta especialmente práctico si se llega a Sevilla en coche. En definitiva, una estancia muy agradable y un hotel que recomendaría sin duda para visitar Sevilla.”

“This hotel cannot be beaten in terms of customer service. Rosana in particular was amazing at recommending places to go, professional & thorough with her top tips. Milo always had a smile on his face & very welcoming. He had great stories to tell about the history of Seville. This has to be one of my favourite hotels due to the personalities in this hotel alone. It’s also very beautiful!”

“The hotel accommodations, staff and location make the Meliá in the top group of hotels to use when in Seville. Stayed for 4 days in September and had the following observations. The check in was not a rush job with a clerk welcoming you and handing you a key , but rather a relaxed conversational welcome. Plus the Front Desk manager, Isabel, was looking at 3 available rooms and explained pluses and minuses of each. The selected room was large, bright, clean and quiet Although the outdoor temp was very warm the room a/c worked well. Bags were brought to room as I got to room. Staff checked room daily and there was a nice turn nightly turn-down service There was a small but usable exercise room with treadmills and some weights. The breakfast was a standard European style buffet that included fresh breads, meat, fruits, cheeses, cereals, juices, yogurt, etc. Hostesses and servers all very polite and helpful. Porter Carlos always with a friendly greeting. The location was between Trianna and the historic district which is central to all the sites and places to eat. Walking was easy (friendly and polite residents) and safe on the very clean streets. It seemed like everything was no more than 15-20 minute walk. Many restaurants and cafes to choose from and the was large grocery store (3 min) and laundromat (1 min) nearby. Plus there is a church next door that had nightly mass. Overall this hotel and staff has earned the 5 star reviews it generally receives and for my short stay I agree.”
