The building was designed as a meeting place for the city bourgeoisie. Its big attractions are the beautiful library and ladies’ dressing area, with a fresco on the ceiling which still has a hole which was used to spy on them! You shouldn’t leave without crossing the River Segura using the Old Bridge or sitting in the Plaza de las Flores accompanied by a beer and the most typical tapa in Murcia: “La Marinera”, a combination of a Russian salad with anchovies.
