The perfect place for an energy boost

Visiting the 32-metre tall Christ the Redeemer statue is a good way to get a good first look at this picturesque fishing city in southern Vietnam. Most people who visit Vung Tau are attracted by the fine white sand of the beaches lined with palm trees. Vung Tau Beach is the most famous, but if you’re looking for good views, don’t forget to visit Front Beach. Watching the fishermen at work in their boats and tasting freshly caught fish and shellfish are experiences you must not miss in Vung Tau. Ready to enjoy it?

The official currency is the dong. We recommend you carry cash to pay at street stalls or in small shops.
Vietnamese is the most widely spoken official language. A good part of the population also knows basic English.
The city has several free public Wi-Fi hotspots. Coverage is very good in hotels.
The weather is warm. The temperature ranges between 23⁰C and 32⁰C throughout the year. There are two seasons: rainy and dry.
