“Wir waren als zwei Paare Ü50 für ein verlängertes Wochenende im Melia Hotel Lido di Venezia und haben den Aufenthalt insgesamt sehr genossen.
Das Hotel überzeugt vor allem durch seine perfekte Lage am Lido, die großzügigen Zimmer sowie die hochwertige Ausstattung. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind die Rituals Pflegeprodukte und weitere Annehmlichkeiten, die dem Aufenthalt eine angenehme, gehobene Note verleihen. Das helle, moderne Interieur sorgt zusätzlich für eine sehr einladende Atmosphäre.
Auch die allgemeinen Bereiche, insbesondere die Lobby, sind geschmackvoll gestaltet. Der Service ist auf einem sehr hohen Niveau, die Mitarbeiter sind aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Die Qualität der angebotenen Produkte im gesamten Hotel ist ebenfalls überzeugend.
Ein Punkt, der allerdings nicht dem ansonsten hohen Standard entspricht, ist das Frühstück. Für die Preiskategorie und die Gesamtqualität des Hauses ist das Angebot leider enttäuschend. Die Auswahl ist überschaubar, die Qualität sowie die Präsentation der Speisen könnten deutlich besser sein. Zudem sind die Räumlichkeiten zu klein ausgelegt, wodurch es zu spürbaren Wartezeiten kommt.
Fazit: Ein sehr schönes und empfehlenswertes Hotel mit vielen Stärken, allerdings mit deutlichem Verbesserungspotenzial beim Frühstück.”

“Como profesional del sector hotelero, suelo ser bastante exigente cuando me hospedo… pero esta vez me tocó disfrutar sin tener que “ponerme el uniforme mental” 😄
Mi estancia en el Meliá Lido de Venecia fue realmente memorable, y gran parte de eso se debe al equipo humano. Marco nos orientó de maravilla sobre la zona y la ciudad, con recomendaciones precisas y muy útiles. Nicolo nos recibió y atendió con una amabilidad impecable, de esas que se sienten genuinas. Y Sanna… siempre presente, siempre dispuesta, con una paciencia infinita incluso ante mi italiano bastante amateur (¡grazie per la pazienza!).
Quiero destacar especialmente el detalle que tuvieron con la sorpresa de cumpleaños en la habitación. No es solo el gesto, sino el momento en el que llega y cómo lo hacen: lograron regalarme uno de los mejores cumpleaños que he tenido en mucho tiempo. Ese tipo de experiencias son las que realmente marcan la diferencia en hospitalidad.
Como hotelero, sé perfectamente todo el trabajo que hay detrás de una operación diaria, y puedo decir que el equipo transmite coordinación, vocación de servicio y calidez.
El desayuno puede parecer un poco básico en variedad, pero cumple perfectamente su función: darte la energía necesaria para salir a explorar Venecia sin perder tiempo.
Tuvimos un pequeño percance inicial con la subida de las maletas, que tardaron un poco más de lo esperado, pero entiendo completamente que son situaciones que forman parte de la operativa diaria y no empañan en absoluto la experiencia general.
En resumen: un equipo que entiende la hospitalidad más allá del protocolo, y que convierte una estancia en un recuerdo especial. Sin duda, un lugar al que volvería.

My stay at the Meliá Lido in Venice was truly memorable, and a large part of that is thanks to the staff. Marco gave us excellent directions about the area and the city, with precise and very useful recommendations. Nicolo welcomed us and attended to us with impeccable, genuine kindness. And Sanna… always present, always willing, with infinite patience even with my rather amateurish Italian (grazie per la pazienza!).
I especially want to highlight the thoughtful touch of the birthday surprise in the room. It wasn't just the gesture itself, but the timing and the way they did it: they managed to give me one of the best birthdays I've had in a long time. These kinds of experiences are what truly make the difference in hospitality.
As a hotelier, I know perfectly well all the work that goes into a daily operation, and I can say that the team exudes coordination, a dedication to service, and warmth.
Breakfast might seem a bit basic in terms of variety, but it perfectly fulfills its purpose: giving you the energy you need to head out and explore Venice without wasting any time.
We had a minor initial hiccup with our luggage, which took a little longer than expected, but I completely understand that these situations are part of the daily routine and don't detract from the overall experience at all.
In short: a team that understands hospitality beyond mere protocol, and that transforms a stay into a truly special memory. Without a doubt, a place I would return to.”

“Fin dal momento dell'arrivo, l'hotel è assolutamente splendido, con letti comodissimi, i migliori cuscini d'albergo che abbia mai trovato e una colazione a buffet incredibile.
