“The moment you check-in, you'll be asked to help pay for the upkeep of the hotel, like paint and routine renovations. Plus, you'll be asked to pay to use the pool and to use the parking lot. All they ask is that you pay your fair share of $36 per night in unadvertised "resort fees." Just kidding. They don't ask. It's not optional. Overall, Melia is acceptable. The Ikea-like rooms are simple and clean. Best of all, it's in a safe area, which is good because Kissimmee is known for high crime and homelessness. You can also check out the Fairfield Inn across the street. It's a modern hotel and includes a free breakfast. No resort fees, and free parking.”

“Room is quite big and clean and we love the giant pool on the first floor. The hotel restaurant is not bad either. Room service is generally fine - note though the water bottles are only provided for the first day, not every day. Overall a great experience and definitely recommended!”
