Forests, rivers, mountain ranges and a few wonderful kilometres of coastline form part of this major country in northern Europe. The streets of the capital, Berlin, are almost like a living history lesson.

The history of Europe

Walt Disney was inspired by Germany’s Neuschwanstein Castle in beautiful Bavaria while designing the home for “Sleeping Beauty”. And it’s not only the history of this great country that is worthy of a movie. The architectural and cultural treasures of the country popularly known as the Engine of Europe are truly spectacular. Seeing the skyscrapers in Frankfurt, home to the headquarters of the European Central Bank, visiting Marienplatz and the New City Hall in Munich or touring the immense Black Forest are just some of the memorable experiences to be enjoyed in Germany. These eclectic modern cities contrast with smaller, fairytale cities and towns such as Dresden or Bremen.
