“Excelente estancia en The Level at Meliá Castilla. Las instalaciones son amplias, cómodas y muy bien cuidadas, con espacios ideales tanto para descansar como para trabajar. El servicio excelente en todo momento, desde recepción hasta el servicio de habitaciones, siempre con un trato amable y profesional. La experiencia The Level aporta un plus de comodidad y atención que se agradece. Mención especial para Elviro, por su amabilidad y profesionalidad, siempre atento a los detalles. Sin duda, un hotel muy recomendable en Madrid.”

“The club (the levels) at this hotel is possibily the best we have experienced in the world. There is an incredible amount of food available all day, and the lounge stays open until late. Service in the lounge is also very good. The pool area itself is good but would be better with more seating (there is the space available for more seats). The bedrooms are fine. They are looking a bit tired in a few areas (ie the shower leaks) but nothing terrible. The location of the hotel is a solid 30 minute train ride from the centre and the train is crowded and hot. We found lots of good places to eat near the hotel.”

“A mixed experience – could be great, but needs improvement Our family spent a long weekend at The Level. The hotel has good potential: rooms were spacious, clean, quiet, and beds comfortable. Most staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent — just a short walk from Bernabéu and about 20 minutes from the main attractions. Taxis are available 24/7, and the airport transfer took only 25 minutes even in rush hour. Unfortunately, several issues affected our stay. The air conditioning in one room was completely broken and couldn’t be fixed, so we had to change rooms late in the evening with kids. The safety box also malfunctioned, giving error messages while opening and closing, which was stressful with valuables inside. One day, we returned to find our room door left open — probably by housekeeping. Nothing was stolen, but it was worrying, especially since elevators work without key cards. For families, there were safety concerns: water from the taps was dangerously hot, and one child burned his neck in the shower. The sliding bathroom doors were also unsafe, as they close freely and can easily injure fingers — one of our kids got hurt. Staff at the Level reception were kind, though restaurant (at the Level lounge) service favored Spanish speakers. However, none of the issues were acknowledged at check-out, and no one asked how our stay had been — which was disappointing after such events. Overall, The Level could be a true 5-star experience, but due to these issues, it felt more like 3.5 stars.”
