“Hotel w pełni zasługuje na 5 gwiazdek. Pięknie położony otoczony nieskończoną ilością palm. Bardzo czysty, zadbany, jedzenie o smakach typowo europejskich. Całości dopełnia niesamowita obsługa, zawsze miła i pomocna. Byliśmy z żoną wiele razy w Afryce ale z tak wspaniałą i sympatyczną obsługą w hotelu jeszcze się nie spotkaliśmy. Domek nr 28 pozdrawia serdecznie ;-). Polecam w 100 %.”

“Our stay at Meliá Zanzibar was simply incredible. The location is breathtaking, with spectacular beaches and stunning views of the Indian Ocean. The resort is beautifully maintained, very clean, and surrounded by lush gardens and nature that make the whole place feel like paradise. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, with constant purified water, excellent amenities, hot and cold showers, minibar and beautiful views. The food is outstanding, especially the seafood, and the all-inclusive experience is truly high quality. Fast internet, great pools, relaxing spaces and even a unique cave within the resort make the stay even more special. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the kindness of the staff. During our visit our return flight was unexpectedly cancelled and the team at the hotel went above and beyond to help us during a stressful moment. A very special thank you to Bruna Auditore and Lisbetty López Pérez, whose professionalism and kindness represent the very best of hospitality. If you are visiting Zanzibar, this hotel is absolutely worth experiencing.”

“Abbiamo avuto il privilegio di soggiornare al Meliá Zanzibar e definirlo semplicemente “resort” sarebbe riduttivo. È un luogo che riesce a unire eleganza, natura e un’accoglienza che ti resta nel cuore. La struttura è meravigliosa: immersa in un giardino tropicale curatissimo, con spazi ampi, raffinati ma mai freddi. Ogni angolo è pensato per far respirare bellezza e tranquillità, dalle piscine panoramiche alle ville immerse nel verde. Si percepisce un equilibrio perfetto tra lusso e autenticità africana. Ma ciò che rende davvero speciale questo posto è il personale. La cordialità qui non è un dettaglio: è l’anima del resort. Ogni sorriso è sincero, ogni attenzione è spontanea. Ti chiamano per nome, si ricordano le tue preferenze, si accorgono se hai bisogno di qualcosa prima ancora che tu lo chieda. Ti fanno sentire accolto, importante, mai un semplice numero di stanza. È un’ospitalità che va oltre il servizio. E poi il mare… uno spettacolo che cambia volto durante la giornata. L’alta marea regala un’acqua cristallina, profonda e invitante, perfetta per nuotare in uno scenario da cartolina. La bassa marea invece svela un mondo diverso, quasi magico: distese di sabbia bianca, riflessi dorati, pescatori e colori che sembrano dipinti. È un ritmo naturale che scandisce le giornate e rende ogni momento unico. Il Meliá Zanzibar non è solo una vacanza, è un’esperienza che ti avvolge e ti rimane dentro.”

“Nous venons de passer deux semaines à Melià Zanzibar, Le site est exceptionnel, bien entretenu, très grand, avec plusieurs restaurants de très bonne qualité, une plage magnifique. Un rêve et comme cela ne suffit pas, une équipe remarquable qui est 100% dédiée au bien-être des vacanciers. Alors un grand merci à Adam, Fahmi, Kassim, Msanifu, Sebastian, Jacob, Hamid, Elifuraha, Zawadi, Paul, Haimis, Andrea, Elodie et tous les autres membres de l'équipe pour lesquelles nous n'avons malheureusement pas noté les noms ... Tunajivunia na tunafurahi kukutana nawe. Hakika tutarudi. Asante sana.”

“Zusätzlich zu meiner ersten Rezession möchte ich anmerken, dass wir hier zu nachtschlafender Zeit angekommen sind. Wir hätten eigentlich erst um 14.00 Uhr einchecken dürfen. Ging aber mit dem Flieger nicht anders. Wir bekamen, ohne Probleme ein Zimmer, in dem wir erst einmal schlafen konnten. Das ist wirklich nicht selbstverständlich. Was aber leider auch gesagt werden muss, ist, die etwas älteren Gebäude wirklich in die Jahre gekommen sind. Wir waren anfangs im Bungalow Nr. 30, direkt am Meer, aber die Klimaanlage hat es einfach nicht geschafft, im Raum ein halbwegs annehmbares Wohlgefühl zu entwickeln. Es war einfach tropisch feucht und warm. Da kann kein Mensch schlafen. Wir haben dann aber eine Sweet bekommen und waren mit dieser absolut zufrieden.”

“I have never given any hotel 5 stars for every category. This one deserves that and more. This place has staff that go out of their way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. To be brief in my comments the staff elevated my stay to excellent and deserve to be acknowledged”

“The most amazing, 5 star, honeymoon stay! We have just returned from Meliá, Zanzibar and what an incredible time we had. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the staff just cannot do enough for you - everyone is so friendly, welcoming and more than happy to chat to you. One particular waiter, Eli, was a stand out for us - a great guy, super attentive and a good laugh. We really enjoyed the food while we were there. The buffet restaurant has a different theme every night which we loved - BBQ night at the Spice Market restaurant and Swahili night down at Gabi beach were fantastic. The hotel and grounds are very well maintained - the pool area is lovely and the gardens boast beautiful trees, flowers, fruits and wildlife. Gabi beach is a short buggy ride away and is complete with a restaurant, bar, kayaks, loungers, towels and the most amazing views. There are lots of lovely activities at the hotel too, including local village and cave tour, Makuti craft and Swahili lessons. There is also plenty to do on the beautiful island of Zanzibar and nearby. The staff were also very accommodating of excursions, making us a breakfast box to take with us when we had an early start for safari. Overall, I can’t recommend Meliá Zanzibar enough, it really felt like paradise.”

We will keep an unforgettable memory of our 9 days at the Melia Melia Hotel Resort is an amazing place, all is very clean and set to make your stay amazing. First of all, garden are luxury, pool and private beach great. Second our room was very comfortable and quiet. Third is the food that is delicious and with multiple savors. And fourth and not the least are the employees: they are very smiling, always available and they took care of us at any time.”

“A ver, el hotel es una preciosidad y el personal muy amable, pero hay diferentes cuestiones que hacen que no tenga 5 estrellas teniendo en cuenta que estábamos en Villa súper premium y con servicio The level y todo incluido. Lo mejor: -La Villa es espectacular, con piscina infinity al mar. Todo lo que cuente se queda corto. -Las personas como en todo Zanzíbar muy acojedores, serviciales y amables. Un 10 -El gym muy bueno la verdad, daba gusto ir. - en definitiva las instalaciones muy buenas y las distancias las hay pero es que sino sería un monstruo de hormigón y es un espacio extensivo. Puedes andar por paisajes maravillosos o coger los carritos de golf, bien privados porque tengas premium o en muchas paradas que hay por las instalaciones. Mejorable: -la comida en buffet francamente mejorable, embutidos de muy mala calidad, poca variedad y sin zumo de naranja. -Los restaurantes como Temu solo ofrecen un menú cerrado para el todo incluido Premium. Puedo aceptar que haya platos que no, pero que me cierren un menú? -Igualmente los vinos que ofrecen con tapa de rosca y la verdad no corresponde con 5 estrellas -Elejimos Meliá por tener al menos un guiño español, como los hay en italianos etc. (comida, alguna persona con el idioma...) pero no hay rastro ni en recepción, productos costumbres NADA. -las habitaciones las hacen de 2-5 justo cuando hace más calor y cualquier persona (de cualquier nacionalidad) se duerme una NAP o una siesta. Buen hotel, con villas excepcionales, pero un poco roñosos en restauración, al menos para todo incluido premium.”

They are organised, well-connected, and remarkably attentive. Their coordination and communication within the team are seamless, and their enthusiasm is genuinely infectious. Always smiling, always accommodating, and always professional - they elevate the guest experience far beyond expectation. The resort itself offers a magnificent range of pools and amenities, each providing a distinct atmosphere while maintaining the same standard of luxury and comfort. The shuttle service running every single minute across the expansive grounds is an exceptional logistical touch. Even if one is simply taking a gentle stroll, the staff are graciously willing to offer transport with warmth and kindness - a gesture that speaks volumes about the culture of care embedded within the hotel. What touched us most deeply, however, is the humanity of the staff. They work not out of obligation, but with visible love and passion. Their sincerity cannot be manufactured; it is authentic. I have even improved my Swahili during our stay, and the team’s genuine appreciation for any effort to communicate in their local language made the experience feel even more personal and meaningful. The management team deserves recognition for fostering such a positive and respectful environment. It is evident that the staff are treated with dignity and support, and this directly translates into the exceptional service guests receive. It is rare to witness such harmony between leadership and team members — and it sets Melia Zanzibar apart from many establishments worldwide. To the entire team: thank you, thank you sincerely.
