Never a 4* more like a 3* Overpriced, not value for money! Room was "tired" Bathroom was poorly lit - especially over the Bath / Shower area. Standing in Bath to use the Shower was very dodgy, as Bath was very slippy, and there was no Handrail to hold on to. Toilet flush was faulty, and difficult to flush! Interior door was sticky, and had to be given a strong pull to open. It also "creaked" like a horror movie door! Woke my wife up in the early hours when I had to go to Toilet! (Could'nt leave it open, as it let light in from the corridor!) There was a full size Fridge sticking out in the middle of the room! One of the fixed overhead bedlights was positioned directly above my bed, and I continually bumped it with my head and arm, when I sat upright in bed! Overall, the room wasn't worth what we paid for it. Pool areas were dated, and also run down. Usual morons went out early and placed Towels on Sunbeds, then didn't use them until hours later! (The condition of a lot of the Sunbeds were poor as well.) There was a number of various groups (Men and Women) who must have got cheap "deals" and used their "benefits" to go there! Sat round the Pool Bar area, drinking, shouting, and monopolising all the chairs! The location of this Hotel is right next to the "Veronicas" Strip, and can be very noisy at night, depending on Room location. Restaurant area was good, and choice of food was reasonable.

The staff and location are brilliant. The higiene is good. The bad things are that the sun beds are not enough, the food in the restaurant is almost the same, no any activities around the main swimming pool just few in the garden and the small swimming pool upstairs. Yesterday was kind of street market, some man came to sell clothes around the pool which is not really good for 4 star hotel from Melia group. No any snacks for all inclusive people during the day, just some chips. Last night new guest arrived in room 1056 near our room and the was noise all night. We report on the reception but nothing happens. Very disappointed. Will think before we are coming back again

Vieze kamers, en word ook tussendoor haast niet schoongemaakt. Ontbijt Buffet is elke dag hetzelfde. Onvriendelijk personeel, leken geen zin hebben om te werken.. en bij problemen zijn ze totaal niet behulpzaam. Door een klein foutje vanuit onze kant, wat niet heel veel moeite was voor het hotel om op te lossen, wilde ze ons onze kamers niet oplaten. En als het aan hun lag, hadden we onze kamers ook niet gekregen. Maar gelukkig heeft het bedrijf waar we geboekt hadden ons geholpen en met veel heen en weer bellen konden we onze kamers op. Waar we immers al voor betaald hadden locatie erg slecht. Aan de ene kant van het hotel heb je veel last van de discotheek Veronica’s. Waar je tot in de vroege uurtjes je bed uit trilt van de bass. En aan de andere kant heb je veel last van de Engelse bar waar ze tot heel laat karaoke zingen… waarbij het geluid heel hard staat. En met karaoke word er meer vals als zuiver gezongen.. erg storend. Heel veel “straat verkopers” en dan bedoel ik niet die met alle tasjes en zonnebrillen, als u begrijpt wat ik bedoel. Ook die zijn er heel erg veel, heel opdringerig en brutaal.

Perfect location. Clean rooms, nice staff. Food is lovely. Will be back again definitely

Glad I did not go by some of the bad reviews. We are here for the last week and another week to go. First of all we had better in 5 star hotels. This is not a 5 star. But I have no complaints. We new about the noise and paid extra for side view problem solved. Staff very nice, food very good, service excellent never waiting on a table. The rooms are spotless aa is the hotel. Excellent location. And great value. We will book again. With a few hundred room no complaining from 99%. No bed bugs or cockroches. OK the hallway is tired looking but the hotel is getting full revamp floor by floor. Then the people complaining that will rebook will be complaining about the price going up. But will still book. The rooms need more sockets. Over all a lot better then I was expecting.
