“Great hotel good food”

“Our 1st visit to this hotel. Our stay exceeded our expectations..everything was excellent..the reception staff, restaurant staff, and room Service were all excellent. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The choice of food in the restaurant was excellent. The areas for sitting out were excellent..we also enjoyed the happy hour.. Thank you ..we hope to return.”

“Excellent hotel with beautiful views. Friendly and helpful staff. Food is very delicious (we had breakfast and dinners there and i really recommend this option). Our room was on the 7th floor and it was so nice with a beautiful view. It was cleaned perfectly every day. There is a small fridge, kettle, tea and coffee in the room. In the bathroom you can find shower gel and shampoo. There is not a body cream (as we had in other hotels of Melia group), so we had to buy it in the nearby supermarket. There is a small swimming pool on the roof of the second floor and enough quantity of sunbeds (you can find them also on the roof of the 7th floor and there is a nice fountain overlooking the sea). Every night there is a live music in the main bar. There's a gorgeous beach across the road. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“Fantastic hotel. The room, staff, food & General hotel amenities were first class. It was my wife's birthday while we were there & the hotel team left a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room 👌. It's about a 1klm walk away from the marina, however this is by the beach promenade walk and is a great way to walk off your evening dinner. Old Town is a €8 uber away. Again the restaurant & bar staff were absolutely top tier!!.”

“Just back from a very lovely 3 night stay here. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel & room was very clean and comfortable, plus the buffet breakfast was delicious and varied. We'd love to go back!”

“Haven't been on a package holiday for quite some time but really enjoyed it. The hotel is modern, well maintained in the main and as clean as it can be considering the amount of visitors using it. It's seconds from the beach, minutes from cafes/bars/shops and about a 15 minute walk from a proper supermarket. There's a lovely walk to the marina down the promenade which took maybe a leisurely hour. Nice vibe, again with csfes/bars and market stalls. We had a lovely sea view room which was an upgrade we selected on booking. We tried half board which isn't my usual option but it was good considering mass catering. Lots of choice of different cuisines, fresh and well replenished. It did the job for the five nights we were there. There's also a happy hour at 5pm, all drinks two for one apart from water and coffee. Ooh, and a nice roof top bar by night, not sure about during the day as we just went one night. The staff overall were either really friendly or they ignored you but not a problem for us. The hotel says good for couples, when we were there the customer demographic was mainly couples aged from 50's up. We encountered a hiccup on arrival which was in the main sorted, we'll see what jet2 says about the main gripe but that said it wouldn't put me off returning. Very much enjoyed the holiday and loved Benaldamena.”

“A really good hotel with friendly, hardworking staff and great food. Rooms are clean and functional with comfortable beds. The location is convenient, although there is some road noise. Entertainment is provided each night in the Salon Bar. The Sky Bar is a really lovely venue but spoilt (in our opinion) by the awful choice of music playlist, completely unsuited to the hotel’s demographic, which was mainly more mature people at the time of our visit. Overall, we would recommend this hotel, though, particularly for the excellent variety of fresh and tasty food both at breakfast and dinner.”

“We recently stayed at hotel las arenas for 7 days . The hotel is very clean and modern with everything you need for a relaxing holiday - Good pool area / good food / comfortable rooms etc . The hotels taget audience seems to be elderly guests which is great but the mood within the hotel and evening entertainment reflects this . We are fairly easy going and don't drink etc but even we felt like there could have been a bit more going on through the days and night times - we found ourselves doing the 2km walk into Benalmadena most evenings to give us more choice . Hotel location is brilliant , not too far away from the extremely vibrant marina area but far enough to get away from the crowds . The most beautiful beaches are directly oppoisite the hotel with watersports etc and the selwo marina and park is just up the hill behind the hotel - lovely walk up there ! We fully enjoyed our stay , very different from the usual sort of holiday we go on but we would return if we wanted that super relaxing holiday thats just a few hours plane journey away .”

“Very nice hotel, room was very big and new style, there was a couple of very long black hairs on the floor from cleaners so hair needs to be tired back The view from our room was a massive tree so not very good,also guests leaving congregate below this room waiting for coaches an taxis so ask for a higher floor. Wasn’t too bothered because we spent most the days out The food was really nice and great selection, staff were brilliant in restaurant very hard working and friendly, one girl looked like the singer Sade she was really good, thank you Bar staff were brilliant also (Arnold) Roof top bar has a great view pool area loses its sunshine to shade from the hotel so better days at the beach All in all was a good place to stay because staff, food and location made it for us”

“La habitación no corresponde con un 4*. Muy pequeña, poco cuidada la limpieza. La bañera y el WC con rallones negros, las paredes muy manchadas. Decepcionada para lo que pagas por el hotel, para nada corresponde. Hemos estado en hoteles de dos estrellas con mejor habitación.”
