The highlights: 🛏️ Beds are great, and the blackout curtains actually work 🔇 Surprisingly quiet, no street noise, no neighbors, nothing 📍 Location is hard to beat 🚲 Free bikes to borrow, a rare and welcome perk in this city 🎡 Spin the wheel at check-in for a chance to waive your facility fee. I got a full day waived and it set the tone perfectly 🧹 No carpet anywhere, so the rooms feel fresh and clean, not stuffy 🧴 Amenities cover everything you'd need: umbrella, iron, hairdryer, garment steamer, robes, slippers, plus a stocked minibar 🍳 Book bed and breakfast and you'll have your mornings sorted at The Wilson, a beautifully green and atmospheric restaurant right in the hotel The rooms are spacious for New York standards, which is saying something. The staff is the kind where you want to name names, but honestly you'd have to name everyone. One small tip for the hotel: swap some of those minibar sodas for lower-sugar options and you're basically perfect. Stayed as a Gold member and felt truly welcomed, not just acknowledged. There's a difference, and this team knows it. A bottle of red wine and a slate board of handpicked bonbons with my name written on it, plus a handwritten note, was waiting in the room.
