“Stayed here recently and overall it’s a good option in a great central location, but with a few drawbacks. The room was clean and well presented, with crisp bedding and a modern, cosy design. The colour palette and lighting create a nice atmosphere, although the number of switches can be a bit confusing at first. The bathroom was also clean and had a nice feel, with good lighting and Rituals products (though a bit small and missing some basics). The main issue was noise and comfort. Soundproofing is very poor - you can clearly hear neighbouring rooms and hallway activity, which affected sleep. The air conditioning also wasn’t very effective, which made the room less comfortable than it should be. On the plus side, the hotel is very well located, just a short walk from Great Portland Street and close to Regent’s Park, Soho, and Oxford Street. The area feels safe, and the overall vibe of the hotel is modern and slightly luxurious. Staff were friendly, although service could be more efficient during busy periods. Overall, it’s good value for the location and style, but the noise and weak air con hold it back.
