Tropical forests, Andean mountains, huge plantations, old colonial cities, peasant villages, indigenous people, heavenly beaches... any place in Colombia is ideal for relaxing and enjoying a good coffee.

Indigenous wonders

Few places in the world have such an immense variety of scenery and natural wonders as Colombia. Hiking in the Cocora Valley, the most popular natural attraction in the Eje Cafetero, is just one essential trip in Colombia, but not the only one. Large cities such as Bogotá, Medellín and Cartagena de Indias, or not so large such as Barichara, have never turned their backs on their colonial and indigenous past, whose influences make them even more charming. The islands and beautiful beaches on the coast allow you to enjoy all the pleasures of this unknown part of the Caribbean.

The official currency is the Colombian peso. In banks and exchange offices you can exchange foreign currencies with no problems.
The official language is Spanish. However, about a hundred indigenous languages are also spoken in Colombia. English is a co-official language in certain areas.
In large cities it is quite common to have access to free Wi-Fi networks.
Due to its proximity to the equator, Colombia has a warm climate with little variation during the year, except in the areas of the country at the highest altitudes.
