All inclusive no snacks bar, can get sandwiches, very limited drinks a chioce of nagroni, magarta on the rocks, food is fantastic, but food is not served all day so if you are peckish you can eat ham and cheese sandwich or salad and ham sandwiches. There will be another hotel being constructed next door to this hotel so depending where your room is it may get very loud.

Nach 14 Tagen hier vor Ort kann ich sämtlichen Rezensierenden vor mir in allen Punkten zustimmen: denen, die nur einen Stern vergeben haben ebenso wie denen, die 5 Sterne vergeben haben. Das erklärt meine 3 Sterne. Ich habe die ganze Bandbreite erlebt, die beschrieben wird- manchmal mehrmals an einem Tag. Also bitte die Bewertungen quer lesen. Die vielen Treppen und Höhenunterschiede auf allen Ebenen sind für ältere Gäste recht beschwerlich. Es gibt allerdings ausreichend Aufzüge, wenn auch nicht durchgehend über alle (7oder 8?) Ebenen. Definitiv ist das hier nur nach den definierten Richtlinien ein 5-Sterne-Haus, nicht im Erleben. Ständig gab es Mängel zu beanstanden, Beschwerden werden freundlich entgegengenommen, wirklich ändern tut sich aber nichts; gegen Ende des Aufenthaltes wird man dann mürbe und fügt sich müde in die Gegebenheiten. Das Essen war durchweg gut, das Wetter auch 😉 und der Ausblick ( nach anfänglichem Protest und zögernd zugestandenem Wechsel des zunächst zugewiesenen indiskutablen Raumes) fantastisch. Werde ich wiederkommen? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Abbiamo trascorso cinque giorni in questo resort, compresa la notte di Capodanno, pernottando in una Suite The Level con vista sull'oceano. La camera era decisamente spaziosa e ben arredata, un letto comodo e enorme, con un terrazzo che offriva una vista su tutta la struttura ed il mare con il tramonto sullo sfondo. Il servizio esclusivo di The Level ci ha riservato vantaggi extra, come l'Open Bar dalle 16 alle 18, che abbiamo molto apprezzato, e una colazione davvero straordinaria: avrei mangiato tutto ciò che era esposto nel buffet, ma in particolare mi sono deliziato con le brioche e i croissant. L'unico piccolo difetto che abbiamo notato è stata la lentezza nel raccogliere le ordinazioni: incredibilmente, ci voleva più tempo per ordinare che per preparare i piatti! Anche il servizio serale al Retama Lobby Bar è stato un po’ lento e distratto. Tuttavia, siamo stati fortunati ad incontrare Angelica, una delle assistenti di sala che parlava anche italiano e che ci ha seguito e coccolato per tutta la durata del soggiorno con professionalità e una gentilezza che abbiamo molto apprezzato. La festa di Capodanno è stata davvero speciale, con numerose attrazioni e tante attenzioni dedicate agli ospiti, tra cui una mezza bottiglia di champagne e alcuni dolci tipici che sono stati recapitati direttamente nella nostra camera.

We had a fabulous 11 nights stay over the Xmas and Newyear. Our Jr Suite exceeded our expectations. It was well equipped with a comfortable bed and bed linens. All personnel that we had been in contact with were absolutely fabulous, very efficient and super friendly. Special mention should be made about all personnel in The Level breakfast room and reception. Also the personnel in the Retama lobby bar were very efficient. One suggestion for improvement we would like to mention is that the wines available per glass in all locations were of rather poor quality in our opinion. Fortunately for us we met Carlos who introduced us to some good quality wines that we could purchase per bottle. As we were a party of 4 wine loving persons this was very welcome and appreciated. The Old Years night partly was well organised with a very nice African show, except that the DJ was not up to mark and did not cater for the guests of mostly middle aged people who would like to dance to good music. Most people left the partly shortly after midnight. We would certainly recommend this hotel.
