“Tolles Hotel und toller Service vom Hotelpersonal. Die Leute sind einem richtig ans Herz gewachsen. Ich war in einem Hotel in der Nähe was nicht so schön war und bin zum Gran Melia gewechselt und war super zufrieden mit meiner Entscheidung. Das zum Hotel gehörende Spa ist auch sehr empfehlenswert. Der einzig negative Aspekt war, dass unten am Pool das gleiche Essen teurer ist als oben im Restaurant …”

“Ein großartiges Hotel….ja, es ist älter, aber es ist lebendig geblieben. Alle Mitarbeiter die uns begegnen sind unendlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen über Mitarbeiter nicht nachvollziehen. Ja einige sprechen kein Englisch, müssen sie auch nicht, wir sind ja in Spanien. Der Aussenbereich ist schön gestaltet, alle ist sehr gepflegt. Ja die Nebenkosten sind, wie beschrieben etwas teuer, aber wer ein Hotel dieser Kategorie bucht, sollte damit auch rechnen. Wir haben noch 5 Tage vor uns und wir freuen uns sehr. Vielen Dank ihr Lieben Leute vom Hotel de Mar! Ihr seid großartig!”

“El hotel es fantástico. No tengo palabras para definir como me sentí. Fuimos a pasar un fin de semana a principios de Abril (punto a favor: es de los pocos hoteles que abre tan pronto y cierra tan tarde la temporada). A parte de que el personal es encantador, el entorno es increíble. Hubo un pianista mientras desayunábamos que tocaba genial, el Spa by Clarins: un lujo, estábamos completamente solos, las vistas desde la habitación eran un sueño. Y la comida del restaurante un puntazo. A la próxima probaremos el Arrels, de la famosa chef Marga Coll y habremos echo un completo!!! Mil gracias a todos los los empleados de allí, ellos lo hicieron aún más especial 😍”

“La experiencia en Gran Meliá de Mar fue excepcional, el hotel es espectacular y el entorno inigualable, definitivamente te invita a no salir del hotel y disfrutar al 100% de su espacio. Además tienen un gran equipo de F&B, en todo momento su atención al cliente fue espectacular y personalizada. Tanto su maitre Rafael, como el encargado del bar Moisés, Francisco en piscina y sin olvidarnos la vocación de servicio tan increíble de Pepe. Nuestro check out realizado por Jaume fue de una atención especial preocupándose por que nos fuéramos con un bonito recuerdo del hotel. Muchas gracias por todo, sin duda repetiremos.”

“From the moment we arrived we were treated to an amazing experience. The entire staff were kind, helpful and always willing to accommodate any need we had. The rooms, the food, the service and the overall experience at the hotel was perfect. A few people i'd like to specifically say thank you to for their amazing service would be Borja at the front desk, Moises at the restaurant/lounge and Rali at the pool Bar. Would recommend to anyone staying in Mallorca and will definitely be back again!”

“Whilst we haven’t stayed overnight at this hotel, we regularly come here for a cup of tea on the beautiful terrace to the back of the hotel. There aren’t many better views or relaxing settings that we’ve found in Mallorca than the one here. The consideration in the design of the space between the hotel and the sea is superb. So carefully and tastefully thought out with many secluded Balinese beds and sun beds right on the seafront. The service here is always friendly and welcoming. Our waiter, Pepe, always remembers us and is most attentive and pleasant, as are the other staff. Something of a rarity here on the island. Safe to say, we shall certainly be coming back again and again. We shall never tire of this stunning view and ambience.”

“Estancia de una semana perfecta. Las instalaciones magnificas con hamacas delante del mar y piscina genial. 4 restaurantes, a cual mejor, pero lo que hace que se llame GRAN es su personal, equipo de lujo, destacando a Pepe (en zona de restauracion) y Martin y Francisco (en zona de piscina), todos muy atentos,serviciales y muy profesionales. Totalmente recomendable.”

“I am updating my review after the hotel and specifically Pablo took action quickly to address our concerns and went above and beyond to make our honeymoon perfect. That is true class, service and a 5 star hotel. No one or place is perfect but how you handle it makes all the difference and Pablo approached us with all smiles and was beyond helpful in making our experience perfect. Thank you very much. We appreciate it beyond words and will tell everyone about you and the resort. If you are able to upgrade to the suite (specifically 2 bed , 2 bath) it is absolutely incredible and stunning. Wow! To touch on some nice features as well. - they have live music at breakfast and at dinner. Fun! They are fantastic and nice elevated touch. Also blankets in the evening so that you are comfortable if it’s a bit chilly out. - it is on the water and lots of chairs facing out to look at the incredible view. - the location is good. Close to the airport (about $40 eur one way) and you can walk into town and easily have a bite and drink elsewhere”
