The Hotel Ratxó Meliá Collection is located on an estate of more than 2.6 million m2, which sits next to Ratxó torrent, that channels the water of the mountain range and from which it takes it name. A natural area guarded by mountains at the heart of the Sierra de Tramontana, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and specifically located within the Puig del Galatxó Reserve. The estate, sheltered by rocky mountains and leafy Mediterranean forest, houses numerous trees and plants such as olive trees, orange trees, dozens of aromatic herbs, and a vegetable garden. As for the building, the hotel alternates wood, much of it collected on the estate itself, and the typical Mallorcan stone wall used in the constructions of the island.
