In short words - it was amazing. To be more specific - we went here with two small children. Hotel is beautiful, full of perfectly kept plants, with pools stretched along the hotel area. It is next to the beach - another convenient thing when traveling with kids. Breakfasts offer wide variety of food that surely will fit anyone's needs. However what impressed us the most was the staff. Siri, Van and Max made this stay memorable. Everyday Siri or Van checked on us if everything is alright. Our kids were waiting to see them. Max shared lot of useful information and insights about the island and tips and tricks - he understood our needs and honestly advised what is worth doing and what quite the opposite (not often you get this thought through feedback). Last but not least, at the end of our stay, noisy guests moved in to the apartment next door. On the next morning, during the breakfast, Siri's deputy (shame we did not write down the name, cause she definitely deserves to be mentioned here as well) came by asking if everything was ok. We said it was almost perfect. Her reply is perfect description of how they work - "How can I make it perfect?". And they did - on the same day we got the room changed. This hotel, along with all the staff, definitely deserves 5/5. Thank you for memorable experience. We hope to see you again!

Struttura molto bella e curata nei particolari. La spiaggia è veramente bella e tranquilla. Colazione con cibi vari preparata con competenza. Ottima esperienza anche al ristorante in spiaggia dove abbiamo partecipato alla cena Thai che è stata veramente deliziosa e ci ha dato modo di assaggiare svariati piatti tipici preparati e presentati con cura. We stayed at Melia Koh Samui for the second time at the beginning of February this year and can say that this hotel has already become our absolute favourite hotel. From check-in to check-out you simply feel safe and cared for. The service quality is amazing. We had the Grand Suite which comes with additional, very pleasant LEVEL-services. The suite is very spacious, very elegantly furnished and can be converted into 2 separate bedrooms. Choeng Mon Beach may not be the most famous beach on Koh Samui; for us this is almost perfect. There are countless dining and massage options just a few steps away. Chaweng can be reached by taxi in just a few minutes. The airport is around 10-15 minutes away without any interference from aircraft noise. All in all, the Melia in Koh Samui offers us all the advantages we could wish for and we will definitely come back!
