“We stayed in Melia Cozumel in June 2026 for 10 days. It was a last minute booking as we were initially planning to stay in Playa del carmen but the seaweed situation was out of control. We were recommended to go to Cozumel and that’s how we ended up in Melia. The hotel its self is medium size, with direct access to the beach. I really enjoyed in Melia. A lot of locals, I’m not sure if it’s a season but majority of guests were from Mexico City and Guadalajara. Staff mostly speaks English, they have activities for kids all day long, two pools one for adults and one for kids. They also were streaming World Cup all day long. What I liked most I think was sound healing / meditation sessions with Aron . Incredible work and relaxation on the beach. The beach first days was clean and the water was amazing. However in a few days there was seaweed , unfortunately no one can really control it. Everyone just went to Cozumeleno beach nearby and spend their time there. Food buffet there is always something to eat and good choice. Spa salon was good as well, I did one session, I do think it’s little overpriced but this is the price you pay when you stay at all inclusive. I’d go back again and recommend to others !!! “Fuimos para el Oceanman y wow lo increíble que es el personal, el hotel es muy lindo y cómodo pero lo que más me sorprendió es que todo el personal súper lindo. El bartender Luis en el bar de la alberca súper amable y Antonio el mesero del buffet nos atendió increíble. Ojalá los vuelvan a contratar el personal realmente hizo la diferencia. Además las actividades extra que ofrece son muy buenas especialmente el show de Micheal Jackson que me tocó ver al igual como el show de banda tequila shot ! Que los vuelvan a tener en su nueva imagen Recomendable !”
