Skiing in the Sierra Nevada is just one of the many things you can do in this magnificent resort. Beyond the fantastic ski lifts, the resorts offers numerous leisure opportunities. On the slopes and off them, you will always find something interesting to do. In addition to plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and a lively après-ski scene.

Much more than just snow

Its privileged location makes the Sierra Nevada a unique resort which takes ski holidays to another level. Discover new winter sports, ski when other resorts are closed, or enjoy amazing family experiences. There are so many things to do and a great climate in which the sun almost always shines.

Ski on virgin snow before the slopes open. Or ski down the floodlit slopes of El Río and Maribel in the evening. Admire a beautiful sunset from the top of Pico Veleta, at an altitude of 3,398 metres, with spectacular views of Granada and the Costa Tropical.

Enjoy the thrill of a 400-metre descent with a drop of 70 metres. Take part in the chrono ski competitions. Try some ski cross, a sport for expert skiers on a track full of big-air jumps, high-banked turns and speed bumps. If you like freestyle skiing, stop by one of the top snowparks in Europe: Sulayr, with jumps and modules to help you perfect your tricks.

Have fun with the snow sleds at Borreguiles with your children. Come with them to Dream Land, a children's garden in Sierra Nevada where they can learn to ski safely and while having fun. And don't forget to visit the Pista del Mar (Sea Slope), a tribute to the Costa Tropical, a gently-sloping area set up with figures which represent sea creatures.
