“Superbe Hôtel très bien placé, personnel super accueillant, réserver les restaurants thématiques en arrivant à l’hôtel, buffet à volonté très varié ( zone spécialités Cap Vert au fond à droite), aucun problème pour l eau filtrée ni les glaçons, séjour en famille 10 personnes pendant une semaine zéro problèmes.
Profitez du bar à cocktails à droite en descendant vers les restaurants depuis la piscine principale, tout les jours à partir de 16:00 c’est top:)
Pas mal des moustiques surtout dans la zone des chambres familiales, prévoir des produits pour se protéger et suivre les consignes de l Hotel conservant les fenêtres fermées.
A part ça , profitez pleinement :)”
“Hotel naprawdę na plus — miła obsługa, smaczne i urozmaicone jedzenie, czyste pokoje i sporo atrakcji dla małych i dużych. Ogólnie bardzo udany pobyt.
Jedyny minus? Część turystów z Anglii. Poziom kultury niektórych z nich pozostawiał wiele do życzenia — hałas, brak szacunku do innych i zachowanie, jakby hotel był ich prywatny. Szkoda, bo człowiek przyjeżdża na wakacje odpocząć, a nie uczyć dorosłych ludzi podstaw dobrego wychowania.”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐ A lovely stay – but more of a solid 4-star experience unless you have VIP
We recently stayed here as a family and overall had a really lovely holiday. Our room was great – spacious, comfortable and very clean – and we were very happy with it throughout our stay.
The food was also very good, with lots of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. You certainly won’t go hungry at mealtimes! However, one thing we really missed, especially travelling with children, was having snacks available between meals. Something simple such as pizza, sandwiches, fruit or ice cream would make such a difference, particularly near the beach. When children spend most of the day swimming and playing in the sea, they get hungry very quickly, and there really wasn't much available between breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The bars were another area that could be improved. They can get extremely busy and the cups/glasses are quite small, which means people have to return frequently and there seems to be a queue most of the time. Also, the bars not opening until 10am isn't ideal. If you have an early breakfast and want to head straight to the beach for the day, you can be left without anywhere to get a drink until 10am unless you walk all the way back to the main reception area. For an all-inclusive resort, an earlier drinks station or self-service water/soft drink area would be really helpful by Gabi beach.
The beach itself is beautiful, but some of the sunbeds and umbrellas could definitely do with updating. Some of the parasols have very little covering left on them, meaning they provide hardly any shade, which is particularly important in the Cape Verde sun.
The biggest thing for us is the 5-star rating. The hotel is advertised as 5-star, but unless you upgrade to VIP, there are areas and facilities that you cannot access. Personally, I feel that if certain parts of the resort experience are restricted unless you pay for an additional VIP level, then the standard all-inclusive experience doesn't quite feel like a true 5-star stay. I would rate the standard experience as a very solid 4-star.
That said, the staff deserve a special mention. Everyone we met was friendly, welcoming and clearly worked hard to make guests feel relaxed and enjoy their holiday. There is a lovely laid-back atmosphere, and we genuinely enjoyed our time here.
Overall, we had a great family holiday and have some wonderful memories. With a few improvements – particularly snacks between meals, better access to drinks in the morning, upgraded beach umbrellas and a little more inclusivity for non-VIP guests – this could be an even better resort. 🌴☀️🇨🇻”
