“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Stay – Outstanding Service, Dining & Atmosphere
We have recently returned from an incredible stay at Paradisus La Perla, and it truly exceeded all expectations. This was a family holiday for seven of us (5th–12th April), and from start to finish, everything was exceptional.
Arrival & Reception
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. A special thank you to Eduardo at reception, who checked us in with genuine care and professionalism. He kindly upgraded us to a suite in celebration of our wedding anniversary — a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture that made our stay even more memorable.
We would also like to thank Christopher at reception, who arranged a late check-out for us the day before departure. With our evening flight at 19:40, this made a huge difference, allowing us to enjoy our final day in comfort and leave feeling refreshed.
Guest Relations & Organisation
A big thank you to Gabriela, Rocio, and Ivan from Guest Relations, who efficiently organised all our à la carte restaurant bookings in advance. Everything was seamless and extremely well coordinated, making our stay completely stress-free.
Dining Experience – Truly Outstanding
As vegetarians, we often find dining on holiday a challenge, even in all-inclusive resorts. However, this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had.
We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Angel, the Master Head Chef, who took the time to fully understand our dietary requirements. From that point on, everything was handled effortlessly. He coordinated with chefs across the resort’s 14 restaurants to ensure every meal was thoughtfully prepared to suit us.
He regularly checked in with us — both in the mornings and occasionally in the evenings — to ensure everything met our expectations. This level of personal attention is rare and truly exceptional.
We would also like to recognise:
Chef Ruth, Chef Omar, and Supervisor Martin at Hadar (adult-only buffet) — consistently excellent food and service
Chef Gustavo and Chef Hugo at TokiMeku — outstanding Asian fusion dishes, full of flavour
Chef Jasiry at the Fahrenheit Grill — perfect for relaxed and delicious poolside lunches
Poolside & Service
A special mention to Christopher at the poolside, who looked after us every day with towels and sun loungers. His friendly and attentive service made our days by the pool even more enjoyable.
Evening Entertainment & Atmosphere
The evening entertainment was another highlight of our stay. Each night offered something different — from live music to shows and performances — all set within a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere. It was definitely worth staying out in the evenings, and it added a lovely social element to the holiday without ever feeling overwhelming.
Overall Experience
The resort itself is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and perfectly suited for a relaxing adults-only getaway. The combination of outstanding service, exceptional dining, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere made this a truly memorable holiday for all of us.
We would also like to thank all the staff — including those not mentioned by name — for their hard work and dedication. Every interaction was warm, friendly, and professional.

We would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend Paradisus La Perla to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and exceptionally well-run all-inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen.”

“I arrived few days ago at Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Esmeralda, from the moment I arrived, almost every single employee of the hotel was kind and respectful, they all have upmost respect kindness. The hotel is clean, the food is good, the music is good, the service is superb. The bars are great. When it comes to family time, it is absolutely great family oriented place. Private, protected, clean and kids are having a blast. The place is children friendly. Every single stuff are kind! The restaurants are great! The food is great. When I decided to see more than just a resort, I went to the service desk, and that is when I met Ivan Cancino, he educated me how to go out the resort, he showed me all the places to visit. He arranged all accommodation, road map, car rental! Leaving the resort was ok and absolutely safe. It is super fun to drive and rent a car. It is cheaper than taxi when it comes to long distances. Overall, I am super happy with my trip and Ivan Cancino truly made my trip more exciting. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely visit again. Mexico is absolutely beautiful and the people are amazing! The people are so happy and chill. Please tip them! Be kind to them! Don’t abuse them! Respect them, clean after your self! Don’t abuse the country. Sam at water front for renting a boat is super kind”

“Hotel is extremely nice as well as the people. The food was average to bad. I stayed here 2 years ago and it was much better. Also, the bartenders didn’t know to to make basic drinks like a margarita. Last, if you’re not a premium member you have to pay extra for a Carona or Tito’s.”
