I have mixed feelings regarding this hotel. Firstly we had booked as 2x couples in 2 double rooms. When we arrived we had been allocated rooms nowhere near each other & one room was what was described on the holiday site we booked with as a single room, very small & only one chair in room & on balcony.The view from this room was spectacular though.I did send an email complaining about this issue & with respect to the hotel they did move all of us on day 3 when they had space,so we then had the same bigger rooms side by side.But this did make us feel quite uncomfortable for the duration, because i'd had to complain.We arrived late at night, so had missed the evening meal,we'd booked half board.The staff on reception had advised us that there was food & bottled water waiting in the restaurant for us which was a lovely touch. Most of our breaks have been late arrivals & i've only had that service once before.The food was ok, nothing spectacular but it never is when they have to cater to so many in my experience.Evening meal time, staff come round for you to order drinks,we ate here the first 2 nights, then spent 2 night's eating out,on the fifth night we sat an ate our full meal with nothing to wash it down with as nobody came round to take a drinks order.I don't know if this next part is sunshine holidays or the hotels error. On the description of the hotel from sunshine holidays website it lists the pool as being heated, Heated? it is freezing 🥶 They also state that there is a pool/billiard table amongst other things that there is not. The hotel is nicely situated, nicely decorated & always very clean.

Hola. Sol Puerto de la Cruz, un hotel maravilloso. Gente cálida y guapa, acogedor, servicios de calidad, limpieza diaria, sin que nos molesten innecesariamente. Queremos agradecer especialmente al Sr. Domingo, a la Srta. Grazia y a las señoras de la limpieza y de la mesa. Me quito el sombrero.

Magnifico hotel y el personal un 10, estuvimos una semana y todos fantastico, lo voy a recordar toda mi vida muchosimasgracias

Hotel asi celkem ok, ale okoli nic moc. Plaz je dlouhodobe zavrena kvuli kontaminaci odpadni vodou a neni ani moc pekna, v sirokem okoli to obcas smrdi. Hned za zdi hotelu jsou dva stadiony, takze klidny moc nebude...

Good place to stay. Bit tired, but clean. Would use it again
