“Stayed at the Reserve and it was very quiet and peaceful. Had a swim out room by the quiet pool and it was amazing. Would be nice if there were lounge chairs instead of rocking chairs but very nice and the hot tub was a nice touch. Our butler Cynthia was excellent and added lots of special touches to make our stay memorable. All the staff at the Reserve à la carte for bfast and lunch were fantastic. Only 2 small complaints. Half the restaurants are with the kids section which definitely takes away from any romantic setting. We ate at one restaurant only with kids and had our butler keep us at the adults only restaurants rest of stay so we ate a few dinners at same resto twice. The biggest detractor I would say is I thought I paid for the highest level being the Reserve. However they have a BLACK CIRCLE level which is like a time share deal. Everything was an upsell to get to that level which really took away from a great experience. Steakhouse, wines, sit in on the Black Circle Presentation etc constant attempt for upsell. Aside from this absolutely fantastic relaxing vacation. Jan 17-24”

“I chose **Paradisus La Perla - Adults Only - Riviera Maya** because I was looking for an adults-only hotel where I could relax without too much noise or crowds, and the photos and reviews suggested it had a peaceful atmosphere and high-quality service. It also seemed like a good option because it is located in the Riviera Maya, which is known for its beautiful beaches and tropical environment. Overall, I had a very good experience, which is why I would rate it **4.5 out of 5**. The hotel facilities are beautiful and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the pools and beach areas were perfect for relaxing. I also enjoyed the variety of restaurants, because there were many options and the food quality was generally good. However, there were a few small things that could be improved. Some services were a little slow at times, and a few areas of the hotel were crowded during peak hours. Even so, the experience was still very positive because the environment was relaxing and the service staff tried to be helpful. Because of the comfortable atmosphere, good service, and beautiful location, I would definitely recommend this hotel to people who want a relaxing adults-only vacation in the Riviera Maya.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Paradisus La Perla. The resort was beautiful and the overall experience was great. The food was amazing with many good options to choose from. The Italian restaurant and the steakhouse were especially awesome and definitely some of our favorite dining spots. The breakfast was very good every morning, and we really enjoyed the smoothie options which were fresh and a great way to start the day. Drinks throughout the resort were also excellent and well made. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help which made the stay even better. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting.”

“My wife and our friends have experienced all inclusive resorts for decades now, all over the Caribbean. We've tried 1 to 5 star venues over the years from humble beginnings to current. Without a single doubt, we have just returned from our most favourite resort experience. The Melia Organization designed an extravagant concept at the Pardisus Playa la Perla the Riviera Maya. We had the luxurious option of the Reserve with a beautiful view of the pool at the Adults Only section of this resort. From the moment we stepped onto the hotel floor we were welcomed warmly with a drink from the lobby bar and charcuterie board with wine in our room. Our concierge, Roberto Vado, was like our guardian angel. He welcomed us every day, organized our time and essentially did all the work to ensure that we maximized our time enjoying the incredible amenities and activities. Roberto guided us and helped us make good decisions. He was always accessible, kind and informative. We really cannot thank him enough for such a great experience. We will be sure to ask for Roberto when we return! The amazing staff experience continued throughout the resort. Our go-to pool side bartender, Josue, knew our preferred drinks and always served with a smile. His skills with mixology were evident with the smiles from everyone who sipped his cocktails. Our server at the Reserve Restaurant, Antonio was immensely helpful, resourceful and always went out of his way to make sure we were fully in a joyful state with our food experiences. I have never had as good shrimp tacos I had here along with a whole assortment of fantastic food selections. All the restaurants offered amazing selections and great food. There are too many staff that were so amazing to continue mentioning. The reserve side pool was calm and offered great opportunity to meet wonderful guests and strike up great conversations. Our rooms and room service were amazing. The adults only pool was also great and our 2 couples enjoyed several activities that were offered. The included cenote experiece was pretty neat as was the hydrotherapy at the Spa. The only challenge that was beyond the hotel's control was the amount of beach water sea weed but everything inside the resort vastly made up for this. This resort has now become our absolute favourite experience and we aim to return to our ultimate get away experience as soon as possible!”

“World class customer service. A shout out to Cristian(poolside waiter), Omar(poolside waiter), Manuel(beach waiter), Monica(front desk), Daphne(front desk), and Shaira Paloma(breakfast waitress). We've been to 8 different all-inclusive resorts including Excellence and Sandal's properties. The customer service here is at that level or above. The drink consistency is the best we've experienced. The breakfast food, again 5 stars. Poolside side food options are quite impressive and extremely delicious. The dinner options are kinda a weak point, and inconsistent but the Asian restaurant and Sal were both amazing. A karaoke band, not DJ, is absolutely genius. That should be 2 days a week, not 1. If there is a weak point, it's late night activities and the announcement of activities, the TV schedule could also be greatly improved also. Nevertheless, this is the best all-inclusive resort we have been to. This place beats Sandals in St. Lucia and Excellence Rivera Cancun in their customer service and drink mixology. Perfect....no.....But we'll definitely go back. Amazing breakfast and lunch food options with great daytime activities and decent nighttime activities with a decent price equals hard to beat resort. Also, 5th Ave shops are a 15-20 minute walk. On the South side of 5th Ave. Souvenirs are also cheaper there.”

“Eduardo Monroy es lo Máximo! We stayed here for my wife's birthday. We booked the Reserve package and had our own personal concierge. It was 100% worth it and Eduardo Monroy was beyond helpful. He definitely went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. He decorated our room for my wife's birthday as a surprise with cake and wine. He helped rebook reservations, provided recommendations and always told us the activities that were going on at the resort. Most importantly, our flight was cancelled the day we were scheduled to leave. He worked with us to ensure we could stay in a similar room we were already booked for despite the limited availability. It was stressful for us to rearrange our travel plans and he made sure we were taken care of and had one less thing to worry about. I would stay here again without a doubt. I'm not sure if there is a better all inclusive. The food was amazing overall, the rooms are clean and the service was exceptional.”

“Florencia at the Nespresso cafe gave stellar service! Our room was a bit outdated compared to my sister’s, but they cleaned it impeccably! Food was decent, service was a bit slow in some restaurants/areas, but stellar in others. Lots of amenities and activities throughout the resort. Half our group had kids and half didn’t, and we were able to hang together and separate when desired. Overall it was an excellent stay!”

“Group Trip Getaway - Incredible Experience at La Perla We traveled with a group of four couples and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Prior to arrival, I reached out to the concierge via email, and Lady Gonzalez truly went above and beyond. She ensured our group could sit together for two special birthday dinners and even arranged surprise cake and wine in the rooms, such a thoughtful touch that made the celebrations extra special. We were pleasantly surprised to have private dining spaces for both the hibachi experience and the lemon fish dinner. We arrived on the evening of Friday, February 13th. On Saturday I met with the desk concierge to secure the remaining dinner reservations throughout our stay, this was easy and seamless. The adult-side dining experiences were incredible! Pro tip: Make two reservations for Teppanyaki — one for the hibachi show and another for the entre and sushi à la carte. Lunch options were plentiful and delicious, including the Taqueria, Fahrenheit Pool, Hadar Buffet, and the upscale finger foods and desserts in the welcome lobby. Shaira at the buffet was top-notch, so attentive and kind and our beach waitress, Reyna, did an amazing job (she even started predicting our drink orders!). Seating around both the pool and beach was excellent (even at 90% capacity) We loved having the option to reserve a palapa around 7 a.m. to ensure shaded seating for our group, it made our days so comfortable and relaxing. After our friends headed home, we spent time in the Quiet Zone, tucked near the jungle. Hearing the birds while relaxing away from the main adult pool was incredibly peaceful. The main adult pool area was lively with plenty of seating options. With outside temperatures in the 80s, the pool felt refreshing. The resort itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. We were very impressed with the spacious and elegant Junior Suite. Every patio features a hot tub, table, bar area, and robes with slippers, such a luxurious setup. Every staff member we encountered - housekeeping, groundskeepers, security, bartenders, and waitstaff - was professional, warm, and welcoming. Nightly entertainment in the adults lobby was engaging and fun. Our favorites were the Aztec show, the pop/rock live band, and the candlelight instrumental performance. There are countless seating areas throughout the resort, but we especially loved the romantic beach area with cozy cushioned chairs under twinkle lights. It was the perfect gathering spot for our group to play dice and Catch Phrase in the evenings. Our only critiques: the family-side dining areas were quite loud due to high ceilings and minimal sound absorption. At other resorts we’ve visited with our children, the layouts felt more spread out and less chaotic. We also found there were not enough restroom facilities, particularly near the beach. We have stayed at other brands in Riviera Maya and Puerto Vallarta, as well as in Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica — including Bahia Principe, Iberostar, and Hard Rock. This resort truly stood out for its ambiance and exceptional adult-focused offerings. We would absolutely return!”

Our stay at **Paradisus La Perla - The Reserve** was nothing short of a five-star paradise, perfectly situated along the stunning beaches of Playa del Carmen in the heart of the Riviera Maya. The location is truly unbeatable — close enough to enjoy the vibrant town, outstanding local golf courses, and the breathtaking nearby cenotes, yet peacefully secluded for complete relaxation (and yes, the Quiet Zones actually allow you to "Embrace the silence"! Every amenity exceeded our expectations, from the pristine pools and luxurious beach beds to the numerous, diverse, and exceptional restaurants, each offering impeccable ambiance and presentation. Although we didn’t experience every activity offered (doing so would have been delightfully exhausting), there was more than enough to keep every type of traveler thoroughly entertained. Our rooms at The Reserve were impeccable in every way, and they were maintained that way daily by the excellent cleaning staff. What truly sets this resort apart, however, is the concierge team — especially Eduardo Monroy — whose attention to detail and personalized service made every moment effortless and memorable. He anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, seamlessly arranging excursions, securing reservations, and assisting with additional personal travel plans well beyond what was required. “I would rate service a "6" if I were able. We visited for 7 days, including my birthday. The visit wasn't without some minor hiccups, but overall was excellent. The accommodations were very nice, including daily cleaning plus evening turn-down. The cabanas at the beach, the adult pool, and the quiet zone were excellent... comfortable and well shaded. Everything was incredibly clean, including the beach - where some hard working men removed sargassum each morning. Service while out and about on the property was excellent, I probably never went more than 30 minutes without being asked if I wanted anything. The staff who attended the spa, excursions, and Circle (which I believe is a timeshare) were polite and not pushy. The beach was gorgeous, constantly patrolled, and well attended. Walking the beach at night, security was present and signaled to each other when we were moving between locations. At the buffet "Hadar", Sandy and Ismael took amazing care of us every morning, I looked forward to seeing them each day. I felt very taken care of, and have recommended this location to friends already.”

“10/10 !! Stayed in a master suite in section A on the map. It's the adults only side. It's the quiet zone facing the beach, east. FANTASTIC. It was fun having the family side to pop over too as well! The kids everywhere on the family aide😅. They are so funny and adorable. The Fahrenheit pool& bar is awesome. The server named Yasuky was our favorite!! She was so nice, helpful, always ready to take our order and just a pleasure to meet! 🫶💗 We were on our honeymoon and really needed the vacation from work and life so having such amazing service and beautiful views and perfect amenities is just what we needed. We loved it here and highly recommend this location to anyone.”
