“First of all, thank you for a lovely family holiday. We travelled as a family of five – two adults and three young children – and overall we had a very enjoyable stay.
The welcome at the hotel deserves special recognition. The reception team was probably among the best we have ever experienced. They were exceptionally friendly, polite, professional and welcoming, while keeping everything relaxed and effortless. It made a wonderful first impression.
The recent renovation of the hotel has made a huge difference. The property looks fresh, modern and elegant. Our rooms were tastefully decorated and cleaned thoroughly every day, so they were always spotless.
Our first two meals in the buffet restaurant (lunch and dinner) were excellent and raised our expectations. The selection was varied, everything looked fresh and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, our enthusiasm faded over the following days. The quality of the food was inconsistent – some dishes were under-seasoned, others overcooked or even slightly burnt, and the menu became rather repetitive. As we were travelling with three small children, we were not able to experience the à la carte restaurants, so I cannot comment on those.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the beverage service in the main restaurant. During our six-day stay, we were proactively offered drinks only once. There are no self-service water dispensers during lunch or dinner, so the only way to get something to drink is to catch a waiter and place an order. In reality, it often felt like we were hunting for someone just to ask for a glass of water. This is simply not acceptable for a hotel of this standard. Another issue was communication. Many members of the restaurant staff spoke no English, which led to unnecessary misunderstandings. For example, we ordered four drinks without ice and received only two, both with ice. From the third day onwards, we actually started bringing our own bottles of water to meals – something I have never had to do before despite travelling extensively around the world.
Parking is another area that needs improvement. There is no convenient parking close to the hotel, so every day we had to search for a space somewhere along the surrounding streets and then walk several minutes back with three young children. It is not a major issue, but certainly an inconvenience.
I was also disappointed with the supervision at the children's pool. The lifeguard appeared completely disengaged throughout the day, sitting on a chair focused on his phone. At one point my young son lost one of his swimming armbands in the water and became frightened. The lifeguard did not even notice the situation, and I had to jump into the pool myself to help him. That is not the level of attentiveness one expects when children are involved.
Overall, this is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location with breathtaking views and genuinely kind people. The renovation has created a fantastic place to stay. Once some issues are addressed, this hotel could truly become the paradise it has the potential to be.”

“Hemos pasado 7 días estupendos en el Paradisus Fuerteaventura!!!
Habíamos estado hace ya 4 años cuando aun era Meliá Fuerteaventura previo a la renovación.
Se nota y mucho la diferencia!!
Si bien quedan detalles como el spa,
La variedad de los restaurantes como la calidad de la comida excelente
La decoración de las habitaciones, el lobby y las partes comunes han quedado muy lindas la verdad
Quería agradecer al personal de the Reserve, así como también a los chicos y las chicas del Lobby que han estado atentos a todas nuestras necesidades.
Pero muy especialmente a la oficina de Circle by Meliá y su personal que ha hecho de nuestras vacaciones un momento muy especial
Sin duda como ya lo hemos hecho en esta oportunidad volveremos por aquí.”
