“Since our favourite hotel, Gran Meliá Don Pepe, is still closed for renovations, we were looking for an alternative in the Marbella area. We visited ME Marbella, but we prefer an open seaview from the garden. Hacienda del Mar is a little more secluded, but fully meets our expectations in terms of comfort. The hotel Hacienda del Mar was recommended to us by Abel López Ybarra, the Guest Relations Manager at Don Pepe, who has our full trust and confidence. Abel is now at Hacienda del Mar, where he is doing a marvellous job. During our stay we also met Helvia Prieto Isidoro who we new from Don Pepe and who is now Resident Manager. Both made us feel at home! Thanks for taking take of us so well!”

“We had the most wonderful stay at Hacienda del Mar at the beginning of October! We only stayed for one night, but it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was truly exceptional. We felt so welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay, and we were really spoiled by the amazing staff. Even though it was just a short getaway with a friend, it felt like a little luxury escape. Every detail made our stay special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would definitely love to come back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Marbella! And a special thanks to Abel for making our stay extra special! Your kindness and excellent service really made a difference. Thank you for everything!”

“We visited Hacienda Del Mar as non-hotel guests and had the best day of our week. What stood out most was the staff: genuinely authentic and sincere, which you don't find everywhere. Abel even checked in with us via WhatsApp during the day to make sure everything was fine, a personal touch we really appreciated. At restaurant Neguri, Nina gave us wonderful, personal service that made the whole experience even better. Non-hotel guests don't always get the same level of service as hotel guests, but here we were looked after just as well. Thank you to the whole team. Highly recommended”

“An Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Outstanding Service! We had a truly fantastic stay at this hotel! The service was exceptional across every outlet, and every member of the team contributed to making our experience so special. A very special thank you to Abel, who looked after us from the very beginning until the very end. He went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes and even surprised us with thoughtful touches along the way. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the entire team: the breakfast staff, the gardeners, the lunch and dinner team at Neguri, housekeeping, the gentlemen assisting us with our car, kidsclub, and the pool and beach towel service. Every single person made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. What made our stay even more special was the wonderful way everyone treated our 16-month-old daughter. The team’s warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine care for her touched us deeply. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every request was met with a smile and a willingness to help. “Vanaf het allereerste moment voelden we ons hier welkom en thuis. Dat begint al bij de medewerkers bij de entree en receptie, die je altijd vriendelijk begroeten en graag helpen. Ook de guest relations managers verdienen een groot compliment. Daarnaast zijn de medewerkers bij het ontbijt, het diner, de ijskraam en natuurlijk ook het schoonmaakteam stuk voor stuk ontzettend vriendelijk, betrokken en professioneel. Wat ons vooral opvalt, is dat iedereen echt de tijd voor je neemt. Er wordt meegedacht, niets lijkt te veel gevraagd en je merkt aan alles dat gastvrijheid hier hoog in het vaandel staat. Ook onze dochter voelde zich vanaf de eerste dag helemaal op haar gemak. Dat is voor ons als gezin misschien wel het mooiste compliment dat je een vakantieadres kunt geven. Dankzij de warmte en aandacht van alle medewerkers voelde ook zij zich direct thuis. Daarnaast is alles bijzonder netjes en schoon onderhouden en het eten is werkelijk heerlijk. Elke dag genieten we weer van de kwaliteit en de variatie bij Neguri. Een groot dankjewel aan het volledige team van Hacienda del Mar. Jullie maken het verschil en hebben ervoor gezorgd dat wij ons vanaf dag één thuis hebben gevoeld. We raden deze plek dan ook van harte aan en komen hier graag nog eens terug.
