“My wife and I stayed at the Villa Agrippina Gran Meliá during the third leg of our honeymoon, and we were extremely happy with our decision to stay here. We arrived in Rome early in the morning after an overnight flight and were dropped off by our car service at the hotel. Our check-in agent, Thomas, let us know that standard check-in was later in the afternoon, but for a €100 fee, they could have our room cleaned and ready for early access. After a long flight and early morning travel, this was well worth it and allowed us to freshen up and rest before heading out to explore the city. The location of this property is excellent—very close to the Vatican and close enough to comfortably walk to all of Rome’s major sites. No matter where we explored during our three days in the city, the walk back to the hotel was never more than about two miles, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms were excellent: spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Food and drinks throughout the property were impeccable, and the service was truly outstanding. Every staff member we interacted with was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the entire stay feel elevated. We traveled during the New Year holiday, and the hotel’s proximity to a popular local park gave us the chance to participate in a unique experience—watching fireworks alongside locals after a short 15-minute walk up the hill. It was a memorable way to celebrate and something we wouldn’t have experienced without staying in this location. Overall, we were very impressed with the quality of the staff and the level of service throughout our stay. When we return to Rome in the future, we will absolutely be staying at the Villa Agrippina Gran Meliá again.”

“El hotel está bastante bien, viajamos mucho en hoteles Meliá. Pero nosotros hemos reservado cama king y nos dieron una mini habitación con una mini cama. Al día siguiente nosotros la cambiaron y esto salvó nuestra estancia. Un error puede tener cualquiera. Lo más importante es saber arregrlarlo. El desayuno es bastante pobre , pero bueno no venimos precisamente por eso …”

“The rooms were spacious, even the bathrooms. The bed was comfortable. I just wish there was a fan to keep the room cooler but that’s just the American in me (plus I get hot). Guest service was superb and breakfast pretty good. Location is within walking distance to many places but be prepared to put some miles in if traveling by foot.”

“This was our 10th trip to Rome and we decided to try a new hotel - and we are SO happy we did! Villa Agrippina Gran Melia is a gem - wonderful location (it's down a short hill and three blocks to the Vatican - an easy walk; also an easy walk to Campo di Fiori, Piazza Nuevo, Trevi Fountain, etc. The rooms were spacious and bright with HUGE bathrooms and very comfortable mattresses. Check-in was flawless; I would particularly like to compliment Thomas who made our stay extra special! We were charmed by the FAO Schwartz theme throughout the hotel (my husband and I met at the FAO Schwartz in Chicago 30 years to the day that we stayed at Villa Agrippina!). The entire staff was friendly, breakfast was a feast for the senses (SO many choices); concierge services were first-rate and the tapas bar was cozy, relaxing and gorgeous. The hotel is set back from traffic, so our stay was very quiet and peaceful. We didn't have a chance to try to spa, but friends raved about the massages they received. The only thing I would fault is there is not enough 'storage space' in the closet if arrive laden with luggage for a slightly longer stay. (Plenty of room to hang things; not enough drawers to be useful). We will definitely be returning to this hotel!”

“Este hotel lo tiene todo: desde su personal hasta su increíble ubicación. A nuestra llegada nos recibieron los botones para coger nuestras maletas y dejarlas en nuestra habitación. Seguidamente, nos atendió Frederic en la recepción que nos explicó todos los servicios, horarios y demás. Súper amable. Nos asignaron una suite muy espaciosa con todo lo necesario. El desayuno es de calidad, agradecer a Marco (el Maitre del hotel) que todos los días nos cuido con mucho mimo y se aseguró de que estuviésemos disfrutando de nuestra estancia. Un gran profesional. El hotel se encuentra a 5 minutos de el Vaticano y a unos 20 minutos de Trastevere. Dispone de Spa aunque no pudimos disfrutarlo por tener todos los días ocupados. Muchas gracias a todo el personal de Villa Aggripina, ¡estamos deseando volver!”

“La ubicación del hotel es inmejorable: está a un paso del Vaticano, muy cerca del centro de Roma y también del Trastevere, lo que permite moverse fácilmente por toda la ciudad. Desde el primer momento recibimos un trato excepcional. En recepción nos atendió Giuseppe, que fue encantador durante todo el viaje. No solo hizo que el check-in fuera rápido y amable, sino que además estuvo pendiente de nosotros en varios momentos de la estancia. El resto del personal de recepción fue igualmente atento y profesional. Además, recibimos un upgrade gratuito, y la habitación era simplemente espectacular. También queremos destacar al equipo de restauración, especialmente en el desayuno buffet: el café es excelente y la variedad de opciones dulces y saladas es magnífica. El personal de housekeeping y los botones fueron siempre amables, sonrientes y muy serviciales. Se nota que hay un gran nivel de formación y atención al detalle. Además, nos sorprendió gratamente que muchos miembros del equipo hablan español, lo que hizo la experiencia aún más cómoda. En resumen, nuestra estancia fue increíble, sobre todo gracias a la amabilidad y dedicación de todo el personal. Sin duda, un hotel al que nos encantaría volver y que recomendamos al 100%.”
