“Best stay yet at Paradisus by Meliá Bali This was our third stay at Paradisus by Meliá Bali, Nusa Dua, and easily the best. We spent three nights on the all‑inclusive package and loved every moment. The recent upgrades are fantastic — our pool lagoon access room was beautiful. The all‑inclusive food and drinks were excellent, with a great variety of restaurants. Special mentions to the Snake Fruit Martini at Mixton Bar, the lovely dining experience at Samira, and the amazing food at Tokimeku. The gardens are stunning, and activities like pool Zumba, yoga, and Pilates were great. The beach is also excellent, with a fun little surf spot and cheap board hire nearby. What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. The service was outstanding — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every staff member went above and beyond, especially Wiwin (Kanna Restaurant), Haselina (Kopi Petani), Soma and Ryan from the activities team, our yoga instructor, and Exel at Mixton Bar. We can’t wait to return!”

“As others have said, it is a stunning newly renovated resort, with some fantastic restaurants, the best kids water park I have even seen at a hotel and a great beach bar on a fantastic part of Nusa Dua Beach. I will, though, highlight my negatives and areas for improvements with the hotel. AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT: 1) The pool water temperature. I am not sure what can be done about this; however, the main pool in the middle part of the day is ridiculously hot, almost like a hot bath. It's actually cooler to get out of the pool than it is to be in it. It is not refreshing at all. We also stayed at the padma, and the water there is so much cooler and refreshing. It really does need to be addressed as it’s not pleasant ar all. 2) Having no pool bar at any of the pools in the resort is slightly disappointing, as most other five-star resorts around Nusa Dua and Legian that we have stayed at have a pool bar. 3) This leads on to my third point: you do have buzzer service; however, the service is ridiculously slow. There were times where it would take 10 minutes for a server to come to my chair, and then it would often take another 10 minutes for the drink to arrive. Having to wait some 20 minutes for a drink at a five-star resort is very poor service, in my opinion. Please note that when we stayed there last week, the resort only seemed to be at 50 to 60% capacity, so I would hate to see what the service would be like at full capacity. 4) you almost have too many restaurants at this resort. All look fantastic; however, there were not many people in each restaurant each evening that we attended, therefore a lack of atmosphere. Perhaps this will change once the hotel gets fuller. Kanna restaurant looks stunning however the seats would have to be the most uncomfortable seating ever. 5) A lack of nighttime entertainment past 8-830pm 6) Drink and cocktail selections limited. No Bintang Crystal at any bars and cocktails limited compared to Padma or the Mulia to name a few resorts. Overall, it was a good stay. Would I stay here again? I'd have to think about it. The above points, especially around the pool water temperature and point three being the service for drinks around the pool, left a sour taste in our mouths. We hope you can improve on this situation over time.”

“The stay at the Paradisus by Melia so far has been exceptional. The housekeeper (Irma) kept the room very clean and tidy, always friendly and taking care. At breakfast the team (Tina & Oki) brought the coffee by the time we were seated and by walking past the egg station the waiter just asked “poached egg?” This was so forthcoming as the entire staff recognised what we liked and were so happy with big smiles.”

“Je recommandes fortement à la direction de l’hôtel d’améliorer sérieusement la nourriture et qualité proposé = trop de produis transformés, pas de goût dans vos assiettes… ( aussi les portions ne sont pas du tout cohérentes, d’après l’information reçue, la cuisine pèse le poids des aliments et assiette!). Les prix sont élevés en comparaison a la valeur perçue et ce que l’on obtiens réellement dans l’assiette. Je ne reviendrai probablement pas. J’ai commandé une assiette pour illustrer l’exemple des quantités ( assiette de fruit 140’000 rp, c’est une assiette pour enfant pas pour adulte)”
