So Iv stayed at the ME in covenant garden several times with no problems I booked a room Sunday night ,room smelt damp but I didn’t complain as I was only there for one night and it was my birthday so when I check out and pay my bill a couple of hours later I get notification they’ve taken £125 from my card a few hours later they’ve tried to take another £65 which was declined. I’ve had no contact with the hotel and they’ve not explained or had the courtesy to contact me tell me why they’ve taken this additional money, I won’t be staying at this hotel again

Fabulous hotel right in the middle of London. Very cool atmosphere, with attentive staff and modern amenities. The concierge desk was always staffed with attentive and helpful professionals - Mr. Gladstone was particularly engaging with my young son - in fact, my son left him a goodbye note upon our departure. Alexandra in the housekeeping staff was also exceptional. Overall, we had a great stay at the ME London.

El hotel estupendo como era de imaginar tanto por su diseño como por la ubicación perfecta para visitar Londres. El restaurante Lucciano y el rooftop también estupendo, pero lo más destacable con diferencia con el resto de hoteles de su categoría en los que he estado, ha sido el STAFF. Simplemente EXCEPCIONAL. Nuestro agradecimiento a todos ellos por hacer que este viaje en familia para que nuestra hija de 11 años disfrutara de Londres, sea inolvidable gracias a la amabilidad de todas las personas que nos han atendido. Desde Javier que nos recibió, como los chicos del lobby por estar pendiente de cualquier cosa que necesitáramos, como a los profesionales que nos atendieron tanto en el desayuno como en el restaurante de la terraza, la cena fue aún más perfecta gracias a vuestra amabilidad y calidez humana. Pero por supuesto una especial mención a Paula quien hizo que nuestra estancia en ME LONDON fuera perfecta. Gracias a todos y por supuesto repetiremos.

+ Great location, great food/bar, helpful staff - not everyone’s taste- very contemporary, dark hallways, neon art, very heavy fragrance I stayed at ME London recently due to the walkability and great location when we came to town for a Taylor swift concert. Location: The hotel is conveniently located in the Covent garden area and is generally walkable to lots of shopping/ shows. Overall, the 5 star hotel rating online relative to the price was nice. Rooms: The rooms were small and uneventful. As someone who is very health conscious- the heavy fragrance in the halls was too much for me. The finishes in the rooms were very dark (black marble) and showed all of the water stains. Additionally, when we got to our room the carpet was wet near the closet and had a mildew smell. Design/ambiance: For those who enjoy contemporary and moody interior design this might be a great fit. The hallways/ walls are very dark, they use a lot of metals/ mirrors and bold art. If you are looking for a truly 5 star impeccably designed option and/or more of a traditional hotel this isn’t it. Food: We only ate at the rooftop bar, and the sushi was excellent. The manager of the bar was also very accommodating and the service here specifically was impeccable. Service: 5 star in the rooftop bar; 3-4 star in the main hotel areas. Concierge seemed to not be super knowledgeable about the area, he googled multiple places when we asked about a breakfast recommendation. There was also not a great morning coffee to go option, which as a morning person would have been nice. Everyone on the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I think additional training in customer service and local recommendations for the concierge would make it better. Overall, I would recommend to anyone who wants to stay at a really nice hotel in London in a walkable/ popular area but maybe can’t afford the classic luxury hotels such as the Dorchester, etc. Overall, the quality was what to expect relative to the cost and the vibes were good. If you don’t love contemporary art/ moody design, there is probably another hotel more suitable.
