“I stayed at Hotel Gran Via during a girls’ trip to Madrid with my friend, and the location truly could not be better. The hotel sits right on the bustling Gran Via street, which is one of the liveliest areas in the city. As soon as you step outside, there are countless restaurants, cafés, and shops all around you. It felt vibrant, energetic, and very safe to walk around even in the evenings. One of the highlights of the stay was definitely the breakfast buffet. I genuinely think it was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. There was so much variety and everything felt fresh and well prepared, which made starting the day there really enjoyable. The location also makes it very easy to explore Madrid. Many historical sites are within walking distance, and the nearby flamenco venues really give you a sense of the Spanish culture and atmosphere. The only downside was that the room itself was quite small, and the elevator felt extremely old and tiny. It almost felt like it belonged in a building from a couple of centuries ago. Overall though, if you’re looking for a hotel in a prime location where you can walk everywhere and experience the energy of Madrid right outside your door, this is a great choice.”

“Nuestra experiencia en el Meliá Gran Vía de Madrid fue absolutamente satisfactoria desde el primer momento. El hotel, como siempre, cumple con los estándares de calidad que caracterizan a Meliá: habitaciones impecables y camas increíblemente confortables que garantizan un descanso pleno.Vistas a Gran Vía impresionantes y bien aisladas del ruido La ubicación es inmejorable, perfecta para disfrutar de Madrid al máximo. Pero lo que realmente marcó la diferencia fue el trato humano. El día que nos íbamos coincidió con el gran apagón que se produjo el 28 de abril y, aunque ya habíamos dejado las maletas en consigna, el personal estuvo en todo momento pendiente de nosotros. Con gran amabilidad, nos gestionaron la posibilidad de pasar una noche más realizando una nueva reserva después de llevar dos horas esperando en recepción y la luz no volvia.Hicieron la reserva a la antigua usanza, con papel y boli, y siempre con una sonrisa y palabras tranquilizadoras. Incluso nos ofrecieron agua mientras esperábamos, algo que agradecimos mucho en una situación tan inesperada. Queremos destacar especialmente la atención de Óscar en el desayuno del día siguiente, que nos trató como si fuésemos parte de su familia. Fue cercano, resolutivo y muy atento, incluso ofreciendo un café a mis padres mientras confirmaba si teníamos el desayuno incluido ya que la nueva reserva se realizó en papel. Gente así marca la diferencia. Recomiendo este hotel no solo por su privilegiada ubicación, sino por el excelente equipo humano que lo hace verdaderamente especial. Millones de gracias por el trato recibido antes del apagón, durante y después. En momentos de incertidumbre, supieron darnos tranquilidad y lo mejor de ellos mismos.”

“This was our first hotel on our Europe trip and it was lovely! The rooms were very clean, modern, and everything worked. We could see beautiful architecture from our window. The rainfall shower was lovely - and tall friendly! The lobby is always staffed and feels very secure. The location was the best part. It felt like we were a 15-20 walk in any direction from everything we wanted to see in Madrid. We only used taxis for airport/bus station and everything else was walkable. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, shops, flamenco shows, and even a doctor's office and numerous pharmacies for when my husband got sick. The only thing we didn't like was that the beds were two twins pushed together, which I've been told is common in Europe, but we are snugglers! Great hotel and would stay here again!”

“Gran ubicacion, muy buena vista a la avenida Gran Via. La habitación para 4 personas le faltó un poco de espacio, para dejar maletas x ejemplo. Del servicio, pudiera mejorar pero sin duda 9/10.”
