“Muy buen Melia en una zona muy interesante de Barcelona. A un pasito del Born, de la Rambla y del paseo Marítimo. Detallazo lo del mini bar gratuito y rellenado a diario. El look del hotel es muy fresco, recién renovado. Y como en todos los Melia, personal muy simpático y eficiente. Solo decepcionó que no tuviesen paraguas a disposición nuestra, siendo Gold, un día de lluvia. Pero solo es un detalle.”

En un lugar estratégico de Barcelona, con un servicio impecable, me gustaría destacar la profesionalidad y el buen consejo siempre que lo he necesitado de Ryan, en recepción. Si quieres visitar lugares de Barcelona desconocidos, comer bien, o que te solucione una dificultad del hotel, ahí está él, dispuesto siempre a ayudar. Además de recomendable, estoy muy convencido de que repetiré en futuro.”

“Excellent choice in this area of Barcelona. Staff was excellent. Food choice was very good with a corner of the breakfast buffet dedicated to GF options. Hotel rooms were clean, in good condition and well appointed. Double windows made street unnoticeable. Would definitely stay here again.”

“If I could rate this place 10 stars, I definitely would. The hotel is flawless. The customer service was outstanding. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every day. The location was perfect. All the staff were attentive, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for families. The rooms were spacious, immaculate, and stocked with complimentary drinks. Spanish: Si pudiera darle a este lugar 10 estrellas, lo haría sin duda. El hotel es impecable. El servicio al cliente fue excepcional. Disfrutamos de un delicioso desayuno todos los días. La ubicación era perfecta. Todo el personal fue atento, servicial y amable. Recomiendo encarecidamente este hotel para familias. Las habitaciones eran espaciosas, estaban impecables y tenían bebidas gratuitas.”

“INNSiDE by Melia Barcelona Apolo has an exceptionally thoughtful and kind staff which were willing to help and go above and beyond- the rooms are a great size, and very clean and there is co working space available. The breakfast is extensive and I have to say overall it was an excellent experience.”

“Very convenient location, and generally comfy functional rooms. The sofa bed in the loft room was not comfortable for third guest, though the room layout is good for larger families, with siding doors between rooms for privacy. The mini bar is part of the room rate, which is great. But we did have to ask for water and sugar/coffee top ups as housekeeping was not replacing them sufficiently. The bathroom was small but everything worked well, shower was great. We kept getting lots of new towels even when we didn't need them! This hotel has one cafe, with a lovely terrace. Great place for relaxed meal or drink if you've just arrived, though the food was ok. Location is good, 15 min tax ride to most attractions, the central metro line was shut when we went, but lots of direct buses. The port is not far, and the gothic quarter just 10 min tax ride. Finally, the hotel reception team were wonderful, they organise tickets for sightseeing etc, give great advice and had good restaurant tips in the area. When I locked my key into my suitcase, the porter immediately organised for it to be cut open by their maintenance guy. We would recommend to travellersto stay here!”

“Very modern hotel. Town House room was lovely and spacious for a family of 3. Great to receive complimentary cold drinks in the room that was topped up daily. Metro right outside hotel to get around. About a 10 minute walk to the lovely Harbour with great shops and restaurants.”

“The location is very good. We went with the kids and got connected rooms which were fantastic. The bed was very confi and the breakfast was very good ( a lot of stuff, and very tasty)”

“The overall experience was good however it is impossible to get a good nights sleep due to the doors slamming throughout the night and into the morning. I understand hotels have firedoors however through research these are not supposed to slam and can have soft closures added. On the positive the interior of the lobby and rooms were amazing and clean. They also have a minifridge with free drinks in that is refilled every day which was great. We brought the breakfast one day and that was an amazing buffet with loads of different food options. However would say the price of this was around 20 euros per person which thought was a little pricey. Overall nice hotel but the firedoors slamming really lets it down massively.”

“Great location just up from the port provided an excellent stopover after we returned from our holiday and wanted to spend a couple of days exploring The staff were really welcoming. The city view room we were given was amazing and the staff really looked after us. The staff did give us a complementary bottle of bubbly and some chocolates which were appreciated after a hot and long day The lobby is great, very well decorated and the chairs are comfy too. The room is well decorated and in our room drinks in the fridge were 'on the house'”
