To stay in this resort and to celebrate the new year were a interesting and nice experience

One of the best hotels in Europe. Beautiful rooms, great facilities, very good restaurants and a private beach, Meliã Durres has it all. We are big fans of MD, highly recommend 5*.

I just returned from the most amazing girls trip to Meliã Durrës in Albania, and I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! We were treated like superstars the entire time, and I’m so grateful to the incredible staff who made our stay extra special. A huge thank you to Gisella, our main hostess and the heart of our trip. She went above and beyond in making everything perfect—from organizing our airport shuttle to surprising us with exclusive access to the stunning rooftop at the end of our stay. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend booking the package that gives you rooftop access—it’s the perfect spot to relax with breathtaking views. The dining experience at the resort was phenomenal. Cape Nao, the à la carte restaurant, was a real standout. Luis and the entire team there took such great care of us, and the food was absolutely divine. Each meal was a delight, and the service was top-notch. Luis (the perfect gent) and Gisella also took care of us on the roof top!!!! I can’t forget about The Level restaurant either, where the twin brothers and the rest of the staff made sure we were well taken care of. The food there was simply exquisite, and the entire experience was so memorable. Another highlight of our trip was spending time at the Sports Bar, where Brikena and Keos were our amazing bartenders. They were so welcoming, and Keos even gave us a special show, crafting one-of-a-kind cocktails, each representing one of us! It was such a fun and thoughtful gesture that made our experience feel truly personal I also want to thank the lovely manager at the Sports Bar (whose name I sadly forgot) for making sure we had everything we needed. Every single staff member at Meliã Durrës went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and it really made our trip that much more memorable. The all-inclusive package was definitely worth it, allowing us to indulge in the amazing food, drinks, and service all throughout the resort. The hotel itself is gorgeous—beautiful, serene surroundings with spacious, spotless rooms that felt like a true retreat. The atmosphere throughout the resort was peaceful, and the entire place had such a welcoming, luxurious feel. Honestly, me and my girls cannot wait to return. Meliã Durrës has stolen our hearts, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway in Albania. Thank you to everyone who made our trip so special—we’ll definitely be back! And Thank you again to Gisella for taking care of us before and after we left, you are amazing!!!

Excellent all round. Staff are particularly great. If you need a luxurious holiday by the beach, with great food and be well taken care of then this is the place. I will be sure to call again. My week flew by.

Beautiful few days I stayed here late November/early December. The hotel itself is a little out the way/in the middle of nowhere but it’s gorgeous, definitely a place to relax in off season as it was quiet but great if that’s you’re sort of thing. Spa was lovely, had a wonderful massage and enjoyed great service throughout my stay. I will give the hotel 4/5 overall purely because as a foodie I would have preferred a bit more consistency throughout the restaurants. Breakfast was good and the Mediterranean restaurant delivered great food, the Italian had delightful pizza but the rest of the food was 50/50. Nevertheless I had a FABULOUS time, good selection of activities and great cocktails from staff. I would have preferred more premium selection from the liquor in the all inclusive, however, for the price I wasn’t too upset. Rooms were cleaned to a good standard and staff were very attentive, the best part of the trip were the staff! I’d like to shout out the following staff; Luis - fantastic service, very efficient and great attitude and drinks! Brikena - above and beyond service with a smile and overall fabulous hospitality Kaos - Best cocktail maker hands down Gerti - fabulous reception staff who was very helpful with our requests Gisella - FAVOURITE staff, made sure we had a comfortable stay and organised a fabulous roof top drink for our group even though it was closed for the season - made us feel very welcome and we will have to visit again! Overall I’d go back, some improvements are needed with food but otherwise this hotel is gorgeous, the staff were great too! I’d 100 recommend ❤️
