Excelente hotel a buen precio sobre la Gran Vía.

Muy bien ubicado en Gran Vía muy próximo a los teatros y cerca de la Plaza de España. Habitaciones confortables. Wi-Fi bien.

Nettes Hotel in sehr zentraler Lage, trotzdem sehr günstig. Zimmer groß und sauber, Frühstück absolut in Ordnung. Personal freundlich. Anscheinend würde es vor kurzen renoviert, zumindest Böden und Wände sehen sehr frisch aus. Aufzug ist extrem langsam und bei einem Zimmer im 8. Stock kann das dann schon mal dauern. Auch bot das kleine Fenster im Raum leider keinen Ausblick. Dennoch ein Empfehlung!

Just finished nine nights at this hotel and I'll start with the positives by saying that it is in a very good location convenient to restaurants entertainment and shopping options of all kinds. On the downside the hotel and rooms are very dated and in dire need of a facelift. In the back side of the hotel where all the balconies face there is some major construction taking place which began each day as early as 6:00 a.m. The breakfast buffet was fine but disappointing in that not a single menu item changed during my entire stay. I kid you not when I say that literally every item of food was identical each and every day. Talk about monotonous. Next to the breakfast dining area is a teeny tiny fitness center but curiously I never saw anyone inside. When I went to inspect I think I discovered the reason when I saw on the door clearly posted a notice that use of the gym would incur a 9 Euro charge per person. And please don't tell me this is for non guests of the hotel because there's no way on Earth anyone would walk in off the street to use that gym. I could complain about other things but I don't want to be nitpicky because again the location is very good and convenient and perhaps therein lies the reason why the hotel doesn't feel the need to be better.
