“We stay here when we drive to Lisbon from where we live in Spain. Easy to find off the beautiful Vasco de Gama bridge with car parking which needs some care on entry. Over the road to a shopping mall and Oriente rail, metro and bus stops. We always take a higher river facing room as lower ones face the buildings opposite. Our preference has the full room width window configuration. Here I want to mention Rita on reception who listened to my view and then spent time resolving my allocated room problem. Rita was professional, competent and personable. A credit to Melia! Breakfast, while not setting the stars alight, is varied enough for western taste with excellent breads and croissants. Here it's thank you to William for his assistance. Lovely staff, very good room, sensibly priced and well located. We shall return....obviously!”

There was no language barrier, which made communication smooth and stress-free. A special mention goes to the team for their exceptional support for my sister, who has mobility challenges. They provided a wheelchair for her, which was a lifesaver. However, it could be improved in terms of comfort for extended use. Accessibility: The hotel’s focus on accessibility is truly impressive. From the ease of moving around the premises to the availability of accessible amenities, it’s clear that they prioritize making their facilities inclusive. The room doors are wide and beds are high. The bathroom has a walk in showers. Amenities and Food: The amenities were modern and met all our needs. The breakfast spread was diverse, delicious, and well-prepared, with a wide variety of options, including excellent beverages. It catered to different tastes and dietary preferences. Location: The hotel’s prime location is a huge bonus, with close proximity to key attractions, transportation options, and dining spots. Whether you're visiting Lisbon for leisure or business, this is a great base to explore the city. Suggestions for Improvement: While the staff's thoughtfulness in providing a wheelchair was commendable, upgrading to more comfortable mobility aids would make a big difference for guests with disabilities. Overall Rating: This hotel is an excellent choice for its top-notch customer service, accessibility, great food, and unbeatable location. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Lisbon!”
