Costa Adeje has three complementary markets that cover the entire commercial offering in the south of Tenerife. The Fañabé market stands out as the largest and most tourist-oriented, the Agromercado offers zero-kilometre Canarian products, and the Torviscas market completes the calendar with a more local and accessible option.
This guide brings together updated opening times, exact locations, what to buy at each one, and how to combine your morning at the market with other plans in the area. If you are planning a longer trip, also check out the guide on what to see and do in Costa Adeje and the one for what to see and do in the south of Tenerife, featuring stops that complement the markets.

Costa Adeje is, along with Los Cristianos, the hub with the most market options in the south of Tenerife. Every day of the week there is at least one market open in the municipality. This table summarises the complete calendar:
| Day | Market | Opening times | Location | Product type |
| Monday and Wednesday (morning) | Torviscas market | 9:00am-2:30pm | Torviscas Bajo, Calle Valencia | Textiles, souvenirs, crafts |
| Saturday and Sunday | Adeje Agromercado | 8:00am-1:30pm | Calle Archajara, 5 (Las Torres area) | Local zero-kilometre produce |
| Thursday and Saturday | Fañabé market | 9:00am-2:00pm | Avenida de Bruselas | Textiles, souvenirs, crafts |
Always check the updated opening times on the Adeje Town Hall website before planning your morning, especially out of season and on local public holidays.
The Fañabé market is the most visited street market in Costa Adeje and is open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm on Avenida de Bruselas right in front of the Plaza del Duque shopping centre. It stretches over several hundred metres and mixes Canarian craft stalls with textiles and accessories, following the typical pattern of the large markets in the south of the island.

The Adeje Agromercado (or Farmers' Market) brings together local producers from the municipality in a modern covered venue at Calle Archajara, 5 (Las Torres area). It is open Saturday and Sunday mornings (8:00am-1:30pm). It is the equivalent of the Arona Farmers' Market, but in Adeje: all products are Canarian, with direct traceability from the farmer to the consumer.
For those who prefer to taste on the spot rather than cook, the guachinches in Tenerife located in the surroundings of Adeje serve dishes made with this same produce.
Beyond the bustling Fañabé market, Costa Adeje hides a smaller, more local alternative that is worth visiting if you are staying in the area for several days.
Located in Torviscas Bajo (next to the Costa Adeje Shopping Centre), the Torviscas Boulevard Market is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00am to 2:30pm. Its offering is very similar to that of Fañabé: textiles, accessories, souvenirs and Canarian cosmetics, but with half the number of stalls and a much smaller influx. It is the ideal alternative if you prefer to do your shopping in a relaxed way and avoid the crowds.

If you are staying in the area for several days and you like markets, you can extend your route with the nearby markets in the south, all less than 20 minutes away by car:
| Market | Day | Opening times | Distance from Costa Adeje |
| Los Cristianos market | Sunday and Tuesday | 9:00am-3:00pm | 10 min |
| Guaza Rastro | Friday, Saturday and Sunday | 8:30am-2:30pm | 12 min |
| Las Chafiras | Sunday | 7:00am-1:30pm | 15 min |
| Arona Farmers' Market | Friday and Saturday | 8:00am-2:00pm | 20 min |
| Las Galletas Marina | Friday | 9:00am-2:00pm | 15 min |
If you are going to change your base to Los Cristianos at some point during your trip, check the guide on markets and street markets in Los Cristianos with the Arona Farmers' Market and the fish market at the port.
Costa Adeje has a dense network of TITSA lines that connects the tourist hub with Adeje town centre and the rest of the south:
Check updated timetables and fares at titsa.com. Keep in mind that in high season, frequencies are higher to absorb demand, although queues and waiting times also increase.
From the TF-1 motorway, take the exit towards Fañabé or Torviscas for the Fañabé market, and the exit towards Adeje town for the Municipal Market and the Agromercado. Parking is usually easier in the town centre than on the seafront, especially on Saturdays.
Costa Adeje is organised into several sub-areas and the distance to each market depends on where you are staying. Here is a quick reference:
These are the areas closest to the Fañabé market, located a 5-10 minute walk along the seafront. If you are staying in higher areas like Meliá Jardines del Teide, allow for a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive. Combining market shopping with an afternoon at Playa del Duque is the most direct morning plan.
The Torviscas market is a 5-minute walk or drive from the area itself. For the Fañabé market, it is a 10-15 minute walk along the seafront or 2 stops on the TITSA line 467.
This quiet fishing village does not have its own market. To go shopping, you will have to take a 10-15 minute car journey to Fañabé or 15-20 minutes heading up towards the historic centre of Adeje.
From the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora, the Fañabé market is a 25-30 minute drive along the TF-1. It is a good morning plan that can be combined with the best towns in Tenerife on the return route (Santiago del Teide, Masca).
If you are staying in the upper part of the town centre, the Municipal Market and the Agromercado are the most direct (on foot or 5 minutes by car). For the Fañabé market, it is a 15-minute drive down the TF-1.
The early morning (9:00am-10:30am) is the best time for any of the markets in Costa Adeje. In summer, from 11:00am the heat and the influx make the visit more uncomfortable. For the Adeje Agromercado, Sunday early morning is the least crowded time slot; Saturday morning is the liveliest and most authentic.
Markets can be long for little ones. Better before 11:00am and combined with the beach or a playground. Check the guide on Tenerife with children: family plans for complementary ideas by age.
