“We paid around 700CHF for a standard room. The room was dark at any time of day, and for some reason they also put gray chains in the courtyard that block out all the light and only make it worse. Breakfast is included in the price, but they offered us breakfast in the basement. And if we want to have breakfast in the room with normal lighting, we have to pay for breakfast a second time. The choice of dishes is very poor. How is a guest supposed to feel in this situation? Disgusting. There is no ventilation at all in the toilet and bathroom. The central air conditioner just blows dry air. It's like living in a storage room: no air, dark and damp (if you use the shower). Horrible for a hotel of this level”

“We recently stayed at the Gran Meliá Colón in Seville for our babymoon, and overall had a wonderful experience. Our stay got off to a rocky start, as we had to change rooms twice. However, what truly made the difference was the outstanding service that followed. Maria, the Guest Experience Manager, went above and beyond to turn things around. From that moment on, everything was handled with great care, professionalism, and genuine warmth. Maria and her team truly went the extra mile - and beyond - to ensure that our subsequent stay was absolutely flawless. We felt very well taken care of at all times, and nothing was ever missing. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were exceptional. The hotel itself is a beautiful city hotel in a fantastic location, and thanks to the incredible team, we felt completely comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay.
