“Ein absoluter Traum!”

“We had the best family holiday by far! Thank you to the Fitness team, and the girls Tip & Bow at Kidsdom, for arranging thoughtful activities and keeping our daughter entertained. We booked a fire camp evening and our 3 year old loved it! She is obsessed with camping now. My husband booked a 1 hour Muay Thai boxing session with the talented Muay Thai trainer and he was super grateful and enjoyed his one to one time with him. Hotel grounds are beautiful and all the staff are super attentive. We will be back soon.”

“Our stay here over the past 7 days has been wonderful, despite the little hiccup, which was managed extremely well by the Duty Margaret Nusree. We will definitely be back next year. The staff and facilities are amazing, in particular Aey at Sala and Gaia restaurants is so welcoming and attentive and genuinely wonderful to all her staff. Ken the barman / mixologist is an absolute standout, obviously has a very welcoming and kind heart, a Thai through and through. Together with all the lovely ladies at YHI Spa where we enjoyed daily treatments. A truly wonderful and memorable place to stay. My only suggestions would be; - more designated adult only pool areas - consider your pricing for additional activities - please compare to Sala which is considerably cheaper for similar activities such as personal Mai Thai etc. I have no doubt you will get many more people paying for these services if your prices were adjusted - the TV channels weren’t broad enough, the addition of some movie channels such as HBO etc would be great - free shuttle services to places nearby such as Turtle Village We can’t wait to come back and hopefully see some of these suggestions put in place.”

“Great pools, beautiful and quiet location with a nice beach. Very kid friendly staff! (Tip from kids club and Aom from Service are amazing!!) Only issue is that the villa with pool has a lot of mosquitos”

“Where do I start? We're in hospitality business ourselves and always with high expectations and at Melia they were all met! From the room and the fantastic housekeeping team (thank you so much for your daily service), to Aye and her team giving an excellent service in the restaurant (and what a breakfast, we absolutely loved it)!! The reception was very attentive and personal with big smiles. Thank you Keem for taking our things to and from our room, in the heat. And let's not forget the spa, fantastic massage by See, which I'll never forget! The location - beautiful and laid back, like a private oasis. We loved the beach and the area, but found it to be a little far from Phuket for daily visits.”

“We are now staying in the hotel (villa with pool). After 10 min in the villa pool all the family was totally bitten by mosquitoes (huge number - ~10 bites, ~15 kills outside and that’s only for 10 mins) Now we have to hide inside the villa and we cannot use the facilities of our villa (that started since we checked in) Hotel knows about that problem - and seems they did nothing with this problem before check-in”

“מלון מפואר, שקט ומפנק, ממש חוויה של הלוטוס הלבן!! המקלחת החיצונית וואו, חדרים מרווחים, בריכות כיפיות ויפות, בר ופיצה טעימה שאפשר להזמין ולאכול במים. לשיפור: יתושים, לא בכל שעה אבל מדי פעם, גם בחדר. בלילה האחרון כל האור בחדר נדלק כמה פעמים, התקשרנו ללובי, הזמינו מהנדס שקדח ותיקן. לא חשבו לפצות אותנו על הלילה הזה באיזושהי צורה. הכל יקר, כל תוספת, הכביסה פי שש מכל מלון אחר שהיינו וכו', אין תחושת נדיבות אלא רצון להרוויח עוד וזה אחרי ששילמנו הרבה”

“Had a great stay at Melia Phuket, the rooms with private pool are gorgeous as well as the property surroundings. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, always ready to help. One thing that perhaps could be improved is the breakfast, the selection is definitely not the best and neither what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The fact that they charge for a mimosa for breakfast or champagne does not go in line with 5 star hotel services provided. Also in the room there is a coffee machine however you get one regular coffee capsule and one decaf for 2 people . Is not a big deal but those are small aspects that can be improved to elevate guests experience.”

“Ein kleines Paradies in Mai Khao! Die Hotelanlage ist wunderschön, extrem gepflegt und ruhig. Die Zimmer sind sehr grosszügig und schön eingerichtet. Wir hatten eine Outdoor Badewanne, welche wir täglich benutzten, dabei kann man den Vögel zuhören und bekommt Jungel Vibes! Die Verpflegung ist sensationell, frisch und lecker. Der Strand war unser Highlight! Man kann in beide Richtungen Stundenlang spazieren und verweilen. Wir waren zum zweiten Mal da und werden wieder gehen.”

“We had our wedding there few days ago and we couldn’t pick better place. Hotel was perfect, rooms are very “insta-friendly”, pools are wonderful and beach was beyond our expectations. We were afraid that the beach is not suitable for swimming since we have not seen many sunbeds or people in the water when we were going through Melia pictures but the opposite was true. Beach is very wide, with many beanbags/sunbeds and the water is amazing. Hotel has also a few restaurants - which were too expensive in my opinion, but we loved the fact there are much cheaper restaurant right next to the hotel on the beach. The some applied for drinks. Breakfast was wonderful. I don’t understand bad reviews. Many options, egg station, noodles, rice, bread, spanish section (for some reason?) etc. Hotel is little far from phuket center so don’t expect busy markets close to the area but on the other hands it is not too far from the center that you would have a problem to order bold or grab (last few days we stayed at the santhiya hotel even further north and we had a trouble to get a uber driver when we wanted to go to markets). Staff is very friendly. We were treated like kings and queens. Yes, there were a few mistakes but always managed to communicate them. Many thanks to Sasipa who organized the whole wedding. She and her team were very helpful the whole time. One of our guest had to go to hospital and they made many kind of exceptions for her. She could use her room even after checkout, they brought her breakfast to her room etc. Wedding was beautiful. Of course some things get wrong but that happens on every wedding. But it was really beautiful and we had a great time. Few things you should know are: - is there is a “+” or “++” sign after price, you need to add fees to the price - we learned the hard way - if you are considering a wedding, you will not have the whole lawn for yourself, there still will be guests. But you will have a big part. - if you are planning multiple hotels, Melia should be your last stay, because every other hotel feels worse then it is after this experience. Especially if you are going to Patong - go there first so you can enjoy the quite nature of melia”

“Très bel hôtel, bien fait dans l'ensemble. Les hébergements sont bien intégrés dans la nature. A proximité, une très belle plage, et très calme. Points à améliorer : rapport qualité prix du restaurant à revoir complètement. Nous y avons été une seule fois (restaurant Sasa) et comme beaucoup de clients nous ne sommes pas retournés. C'est hors de prix, pour la qualité / qualité servie. C'est dommage, et ça fait le business des 2 restaurants "locaux" à proximité..”

“Jestem zachwycony pobytem w tym miejscu. Nowy, luksusowy i piękny hotel. Lokalizacja tuż przy plaży z bezpośrednim wejściem i leżakami plażowymi. Obiekt składa się z kilkunastu willi z apartamentami na piętrze oraz na parterze. Te na parterze mają mały prywatny basen. Pokoje duże z dużymi łóżkami, elegancko urządzone. Łazienka duża i w pełni wyposażona. Śniadania smaczne, z dużym wyborem dań w formie bugetu oraz możliwością zamawiania dań także z karty. Bary przy basenach z pysznymi drinkami. Serdecznie polecam!”
