Gracias nuevamente.

We booked this through Costco. Fitness and health are both important to me. So here is my lens. *** Recommend to book your own transport, we spent considerable time waiting on both ends, and they wouldn’t allow us to change our departure time, and we sat at the airport for over 2.5 hours, after getting through check in and security in 20 minutes. Make sure to bring 1,5,10,and 20 bills to tip the staff, we couldn’t get change a few times for 50’s or 100’s. The staff works hard, they deserve a tip for their efforts in many cases. Best thing – Swimmable beach. Bring goggles or snorkel, mask, and fins. Worst thing – The Gym The Good: Water front beach, with an abundance of wildlife. The Yoga classes with instructor Daniel. One of our favorite parts of the trip, we went 3 out 5 days as he is a very good instructor. Class was different each day, hammock yoga was a unique experience for us. The cleanliness of the facility. The friendliness and service attitude of the staff. Jamie our server at lunch multiple days was a great. The fire show on Saturday night. The Country music on Friday night. Luis Enrique our host was quickly responsive, and had all the information. Francisco our beach attendant was always working bringing us and other guests drinks, and he nailed the drink order every time for 5 days. Room cleaning was daily, and thorough. Bell hop service guys were great. The Bad: The GYM SUCKS… Limited free weight equipment, cheap and outdated cardio equipment (Get some Concept 2 rowers, bike ergs, and ski ergs), and limited floor space. Low ceiling and no wall space, no pull up bar or squat rack. They jammed so many pully machines in there, there was hardly any floor space, super dark, and closed off, overall this was the biggest whiff on a beautiful compound otherwise. If the idea is relaxation and wellness, exercise space and equipment should be top notch. The cost of services at the spa was very high, $190 USD for a 50 minute basic massage. The Spa did not have a hot tub or cold tub, the Steam room and Sauna were not heated or ready for use. Overall, the spa was a huge L. My masseuse did not work on the areas I asked for, he stuck with his routine. The frozen mixed drinks routinely had chunks of ice in them. The breakfast buffet was lackluster. The baked goods all seemed oldish, as in they had been put out multiple days. The scrambled eggs seemed powdered. The mark up on prices for higher quality food was very high. It was $44 USD for a Cold tub experience offered 1 day. The sheets on the beds were plastic feeling. They did not restock our snacks and water each day as they said they would. They did not regulate guests playing vulgar and loud music at the beach. Listening to songs talking about snorting coke, getting dicked down and the words Pu$$Y and Fu$k over and over was lame. The sales pitch for the vacation package was poor, but we did get massages paid for. Food: Overall, decent food experience 3 out of 5, nothing crazy memorable, only a few bad items. Had to custom order most items to get higher protein or low sauce. Healthier food options were available but you have to order specifically what you want and how you want it done. We were here for 5 nights, we enjoyed our lazy mornings and long afternoons at the beach. We did not do any excursions.

I was very happy with this property, clean, large room. Love that they have all the toiletries one needs. The staff was amazing, always professional, and welcoming; too many to name, but must highlight two standout in Andres (pool), Axel (restaurant host).

My stay started off rocky since I arrived the day of a storm and it was chaotic fortunately my concierge Luis Enrique spoke to management about it and Ivan and Diana saved the day I was upgraded to a nicer room was greeted with a tequila and champagne bottle . They made my friend feel amazing by providing a cake and decorating our room for her birthday. I am so grateful to them for making our stay completely amazing the food is delicious I loved everything we ate and the staff is so professional and very understanding. We had a bit of a medical emergency and they responded quickly and I felt safe knowing we had a doctor on site . I will be coming back soon! Thank You again to Enrique , Ivan and Diana for all your help and support. This resort truly goes the extra mile to take care of its guests .

This place is gorgeous. Quite amazing when it comes to scenery. Service at the front desk wasn’t the best unfortunately.. for me at least. However, service everywhere else, as far as dinning… has been phenomenal. Gibran too! This guy is so accommodating & nice I couldn’t happier with his presence. Regardless, happier than ever with my experience here so far.

We loved our stay at Paradisus! Roberto at the swim up bar was amazing and kept the drinks flowing all day! Great location with a swimmable beach. The reserve was worth the extra expenditure just for the extra restaurants alone! Food was great for all inclusive! We hope to go back soon!

We have been here for 2 weeks. The resort is nice and could definitely be improved, at times the evenings were boring. What has made a difference is the staff. The service has been above and beyond. From the wait staff, pool staff, bartenders, cleaning crew and more, they have made our stay very pleasurable. To name just a few; Guadalupe, Alejandro, Isaiah, Javier, Salvador, Rosario, Margarita, Alberto, Rafael, Pedro, Roberto, and some whose names I didn't get, this 5 rating is for you. Your bosses should be honored to have a group that take pride in performing their work and providing excellent service to the customer. I'd be proud to have any of them in my employment. Thank you for the care you have provided during this trip.

Stayed for 2 weeks, I was a bit disappointed in rooms and lack of entertainment. However, the MAIN REASON I am giving it 5 stars is THE STAFF. We are Circle Blue Members and had 2 rooms in Reserve Ocean front. This was our first time in Los Cabos, we purchased in Cancun where much more entertainment was available and rooms were a higher level. But in the 2 weeks my Husband, myself and my in laws were here, the staff was beyond wonderful. A smile and a heartfelt greeting every time you came upon them. A few very honorable mentions are Andres in Pool/beach area, Javier pool bartender, Guadalupe who was literally in every restaurant we visited (we dubbed her Savoir Faire…because she was everywhere), the staff in Malva are just a few of the outstanding staff. Our concierge Roberto was very helpful and kept us informed even after leaving or off for the day. We did experience a tropical storm and a small earthquake during our stay and except for a few hiccups, things were handled pretty well. Some staff was stuck here due to weather and they still provided service with a smile. The food could have a bit more variety for those that do not eat seafood, but they do have a number restaurants to choose from. It is a beautiful property with a swimmable beach, located in the corridor between the 2 Los Cabos. Quick ride to San Lucas or San Jose, many excursions available to book from onsite coordinator for Pacific Tours (Ivonne and Eric were also great). In all, I would say it was a great trip and look forward to Meliá stepping up their game but bringing in more adult entertainment that lasts more than 2 hours and understand that being an all adult resort means more than silent relaxation, we like to have options of onsite entertaining things to do. I also again say I hope they pay their staff well, because they are what made the experience as good as it was!!!

Caution against the welcome guys and resort credit; lovely staff The cautionary notes first: One point of caution is that the guys that come and welcome you are not just there to welcome you. They invited us to a presentation that they led us to believe was an orientation to the amenities of the hotel. When you show up, it is actually a sales presentation and they try to upsell you. We said a clear no four different times before they left us alone. They would follow us and try to trap us. Was a bit creepy. But they did leave us alone after the fourth no. They will pray on your greed. They offer you free massages and this and that. Just say a firm but nice no. Remember you are not at home. So you don’t want to offend people. The $200 resort credit was a sham. We gave up trying to use it. They just kept upping the price and changing the conditions under which you can use the credits. We caught on to that quite quickly and left our coupons in our room when we left. The bad: The food was horrible. Absolutely abhorrent. We managed to find some good to tolerable food items in various restaurants on the resort. But food was a big big fail. It changed our experience. We were so looking forward to trying authentic Mexican food and were told that’s what the food at Cielo was. But the food was soooooo bad. Everything at the food truck was soooooo greasy. It was gross. The Marine Grill (the restaurant by the people had very good guacamole but everything else was disappointing. You can get better Italian food at a mall than at Cappala. The Asian restaurant had some good items but the chicken curry was awful. The food was a big big fail. It changed our experience. Drinks were hit and miss. The resort was pretty clean. I wouldn’t say the cleanliness was a fail. But the bath towels were sooooo old and discolored. Although I could tell they are washed, they were still gross to look at it. The bathroom and shower faucets and other fixtures were tarnished. So not pleasant. The furniture upholstery left a lot to be desired. There were stains and spots on our furniture in the suite and also the furniture in the common area. This together with the abhorrent food was a surprise from a resort that purports to be a luxury resort. The good: The staff were soooo nice and friendly. The staff to guest ratio was excellent and everyone except for one guy was very service oriented. Jennifer at the coffee shops; Quadelupe at the beach and our server at the poolside whose name I unfortunately forget were just lovely. The resort had a swimmable beach which was awesome. The waves and the undertow were still tricky but if you know how to stay afloat and don’t panic, you can really enjoy it. The undertow takes the floor from under your foot and the floor is quite loose sand so it’s a little challenging to get out of the water. You feel like the water doesn’t wanna let you go. But we enjoyed it so much.

My husband and I are at the tail end of our honeymoon here, and overall we’ve had a great experience. We upgraded to The Reserve (not totally necessary for the experience, but came with some great perks like our wonderful concierge Enrique), and stayed in a beautiful swim-up suite facing the main pool area. The resort itself is meticulously clean and well-designed, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and the drinks are strong! Folks staying here are largely millenial and Gen X, and it’s been a smattering of couples like us but mostly smaller to medium-sized groups. Everyone staying here is awesome and friendly and is looking for a combination of relaxing and letting loose a little just like we are, and it’s never gotten rowdy despite the fact that people are clearly enjoying themselves. We never felt like we couldn’t get away from people if we really wanted some peace and quiet. We also haven’t been hounded about timeshare opportunities or excursions at all. Enrique has made sure we’ve been all set with reservations for dinner and that our airport transportation is good to go. After the craziness of our wedding, it’s been such a wonderful place to chill out. You can choose your own adventure here, and we opted to relax by the pool or on our little patio 9 times out of 10. Weather was perfect all week. I took off one star solely because of the food - I believe this spot would really shine the way it deserves to if it was better. The breakfast restaurant Malva and the taco truck outside the pool always knocked it out of the park, but other than the burnt end tacos at Sal and the crispy rice at Tokimeku, the food left a lot to be desired overall. (Not inedible by any means, just not what we’d expect at this price point.) Perhaps it’s better in the high season? I know it’s tough to find an all-inclusive with really excellent food, but it would be such a no-brainer for us to come back if that were the case. Everything else was on point!
