    I live in New Jersey (US) and have high standards for hotels. And I confidently give Melia Sarria 5 stars ⭐️ I was a bit nervous after reading some of the negative reviews. But I’m happily surprised throughout our 3 night stay in this hotel. ✅ Great gym ✅ outstanding breakfast buffet ✅ Super friendly staff - especially Allen in the restaurant! ✅ Nice rooms and comfortable beds ✅ Clean and smells nice We were here with a big group, which is why we stayed here. But I wouldn’t necessarily stay here again, only because of the location. It’s fine and safe, and there are some good local tapas restaurants within walking distance. But it’s about a 10-12 minute taxi to the main areas of the city. So, if you’re looking to be immersed in the popular parts of the city, this may not be your place. But this hotel checks many boxes, and I’m grateful for our stay here.

    Typical Melia hotel. Rooms are nice but a bit tired. Breakfast was included for us and the buffet was good. But like other Melia’s we’ve stayed at, they’re always trying to upsell and keep amenities you would expect included at a “5 star” hotel behind a pay/upgrade wall. I’ve literally never been to a hotel where you don’t get access to the pool/spa without upgrading (apart from another Melia). Otherwise is a good hotel and the location is convenient to explore Barcelona.

    My husband and I celebrated our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple at this hotel, and it was such a lovely experience. We dined at the restaurant, and the food was excellent with generous portions. The pizza was especially delicious! We also want to give a special mention to Miguel, who served us very well and made our evening even more enjoyable. It was a memorable celebration, and we would definitely come back!

    One thing I would like to highlight from my 3-day stay is that the elevators had long waiting times and were often not working properly. The room furniture is quite old, and the bathtub was also not working.

    The staff/service didn’t seem very welcoming,there were no smiles or greetings. When my husband asked if my son and I could go to the room first while he parked the car,the receptionist gave an awkward laugh, which made my husband feel like that wasn’t allowed. Parking is a bit complicated and could be better explained.The hotel should be aware when their parking is full. My husband had to drive there only to find no space and then had to look for alternative parking.We stayed for one night and overall it felt like a very average experience,definitely not 5 star, more like a 4 star hotel.

    Hotel was selected as part of a vacation package; however, we were extremely satisfied! Very friendly and helpful staff. Check in and check out process was simple, and front desk staff very helpful in arrange transportation when we needed it. We would absolutely come here again!

    Somos clientes melià , el fallo no tener Parking y mal informados de precio nos han cobrado 76€ de casi dos dias deberian acordar o buscar opción Estan reformando el edificio. Limpieza estupenda todo muy correcto. El agua de cortesia necesaria para las noches. Desayuno el espacio mesas muy ajustado sin privacidad y dificultad de paso. La comida variada y correcta

    We had a marvellous experience at this hotel, from the room, which was very spacious and comfortable, with all of the amenities necessary to a relaxing and pleasant stay, to the position, very well connected with the public transportation and within walking distance to the attractions of the city. But what made the difference for us was the staff, who was friendly, warm and helpful throughout the entirety of our stay. We were welcomed at the Level lounge by Aleix, whose professionalism and politeness shined, making us feel at home. A special thanks goes to Ivan, who handled the aperitif at the Level lounge, who was truly kind in handling a special request. We would love to be back as soon as possible!

    Not a 5-star experience. Two elevators were out of service, causing long delays. The rooms are noisy (you'll hear cars and neighbors all night), so earplugs are a must. The staff lacks warmth, and be careful of the hidden costs that appear on your final bill—it feels like flying with a low-cost airline. Avoid if you are traveling for work.

    The room is ok for 2 and people are courteous. However, only 2 elevators are working which means delays in vertical movements.
