Hotelet në Salta

Known as "Salta la Beautiful" for its natural beauty and colonial architecture, this city at the foot of the Andes is considered one of the cradles of Argentine folklore and a great base for visiting the Calchaquí Valleys, the bodegas in Cafayate or the Quebrada de Humahuaca.

A colonial treasure

Salta can boast of being the Argentine city in which it has best preserved colonial architecture. The Plaza 9 de Julio historical and social center is surrounded by iconic buildings such as the Cabildo, the Basilica Cathedral or the Church of San Francisco, whose red façade and 54-metre tower appear in many city postcards. Don’t forget to visit the High Mountain Archeology Museum, ride on the famous Train to the Clouds, try typical local meals at the San Miguel Market or visit the San Bernardo Hill to see panoramic views of the Lerma Valley. Balcarce Street is full of bars, restaurants and folkloric clubs, and is the epicenter of nightlife in Salta.
